Merck to advance life science innovation with its WND base

Roy Wu, managing director of the life science business sector at Merck China, visited Wuxi on May 10. As a global biopharmaceutical leader, Merck has enjoyed a robust partnership with Wuxi since launching its joint venture in WND back in 2012. Leveraging its WND base, Merck is poised to drive innovation in the life sciences sector, Wu noted.

5月10日，德国默克生命科学中国董事总经理吴波一行来锡考察。默克集团自2012年在无锡高新区设立合资公司以来，与无锡合作紧密、交往频繁。吴波表示，默克生命科学已在无锡基地实现了“从0到1”的基础建设，发展势头良好，后续将着力拓展生命科学领域“从1到100”的全面跃升。

National testing center for energy storage products established in WND

The National Center of Inspection and Testing on Advanced Energy Storage Products Quality is now established in WND. This center can test all products involved in electrochemical energy storage systems and is committed to promoting international acceptance of test reports, partnering with 14 international organizations including the Canadian Standards Association.

近日，由无锡市检验检测认证研究院筹建的国家高端储能产品质量检验检测中心（江苏）获得国家市场监督管理总局批准成立，正式落地无锡高新区。中心检测能力覆盖电化学储能系统全产业链，同时致力于深化国际互认合作，与包括CSA（加拿大标准协会）在内的14家国际知名认证机构建立了全面合作关系。

Enhanced zero-carbon industrial park in WND nears completion

The second phase of WND's Longshine Technology Industrial Park, covering an area of 50 mu (3.3 hectares), has entered the final stage of construction and is scheduled to be put into use in the third quarter this year. Explore Hongshan Site Museum in WND

The Hongshan Site Museum in WND is an archaeological museum built on a noble's tomb from the Warring States Period (475-221 BC). The museum's collection includes jade artifacts, celadon ware, pottery, and more, offering significant insights into the history of the Wu and Yue states during the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC) as well as the jade craftsmanship and music of that era.

鸿山遗址博物馆位于无锡高新区，是一个建于特大型战国贵族墓的遗址类博物馆。其中馆藏文物包括玉器、青瓷器、陶器等，对春秋战国时期吴越历史、玉器工艺史、音乐史等研究课题具有极其重要的价值。
