摘要:《经济学杂志》公布了一项读书多少与收入多少关系的调查报告: 年少时候读书多,以后的收入会多于均值。该调查对5000名年龄在60岁和96岁之间的欧洲男性阅读数量和收入高低进行了分析,结果发现,在青少年时代自愿阅读至少10本书的人,日后收入比同行业平均收入高出21%。

这里指的"自愿"阅读,就是除了上学必修课本和读物之外的书籍,至于是何种书籍并不重要。 10本书这一数量是关键,自愿阅读正好10本书的人,日后收入高于均值得可能性也大大增加。然而从第11本书开始,这一比例又呈反比增长趋势。
