属于秋天的九月，也是一个如春天一样象征着开始的时节。

新的学期是新的开始，新的成长，而在成长的过程中，总有老师的身影相伴。

教师节，就在这成长与收获并存的秋日里悄悄来临。

在这个日子里，精心准备一束鲜花，一张贺卡，送给自己亲爱的老师。

我们感谢老师，因为他们是影响学生一生的人。

正如Henry Adams所说：

“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops. ”

（“教师对人的影响是永恒的。”）

世界各地的教师节

尊师重道不仅是中国的传统，对教师的褒扬更是一种世界性的共识。

It's not only a tradition in China, but also a global consensus to show respect and appreciation for teachers.

世界各国都有着专门为教师设立的节日，但日子却不尽相同。

There are many countries celebrating the Teacher's Day, though on different dates.

众所周知，9月10日是中国的教师节。

As is well-known, September 10 is the Teacher’s Day in China.

新学期刚开始时的教师节，可以让学生一开始就学会感恩老师。

The date is on the beginning of the new term, which allows students to learn to appreciate teachers from the beginning.

而9、10这两个数字读起来也与“教师”谐音。

Also, the word "teacher(教师 jiào shī) ” sounds like “9 (九jiǔ), 10 (十shí) ” in Chinese.

一部分人认为，中国的教师节应该设置在9月28日，

Some people think that the Teacher’s Day in China should be September 28,

因为那一天是中国历史上伟大的教育家孔子的生日。

since it’s the birthday of Confucius, the great educator in Chinese history.

台湾同胞就把这一天作为当地的教师节。

Therefore, people in Taiwan regard this day as the local Teacher’s Day.

而德国、加拿大和其他19个国家，则将10月5日作为他们的教师节。

In Germany, Canada and 19 other countries, October 5 is their teachers' day.

尽管不同国家有不同的教师节，

People celebrate different Teacher's Day in different country,

但都表达对老师的感谢，表彰他们为教育事业做出的贡献。

but they all express their appreciation for teachers who contribute to education.

教师节是一个伟大而温馨的节日。在这个日子里，老师们会为来自学生的祝福和礼物而感动。

无论是亲手制作的小卡片，还是简简单单几朵花，都表达着孩子们对老师的感情。

而老师们最希望收到的礼物是什么呢？

“当然是看到每一位学生都能有所提高了。”一位有着十几年教龄的老师如是说。

学生的成长，是送给老师最好的礼物。
