有一次去朋友家参加聚会，两个人喝高了互相挠对方痒痒，占优的一方一边挠一边问 do you give，另一个人实在受不了说 stop, I give. 大家能猜出说的是什么意思吗？

很多英语不好的小伙伴会疑惑：Do you give? 你给吗？难道是管对方要什么东西吗？I give 就是我给你？答案当然不是这样的啦~

一些同学可能已经猜出来了，没错，其实第一个人是在说：你服不服，你认输不认输？另一个人表示：我认输，我服了~

在英文中，“认输/投降”的表达有很多，今天就来教大家几个，小伙伴们可以根据不同场合，灵活使用哟~

英文“认输”的不同表达：

1、 You win

你赢了

例句：Fine, you win. We'll go to where you want to eat. 好了你赢了，你想去哪里吃就是哪儿吃。

2、 Throw in the towel

认输

例句：I’m throwing in the towel. I can’t eat another bite. 我认输了。 我一口也吃不下了。

3、 I give

我服了，你赢了

这里 I give 就相当于 I give up 哟~

A: Do you give? If you don't, I won't stop. 你服不服，不服我就不停下来。

B: Stop, I give. Please stop tickling me. 停，我服了。别挠我了。

4、 Quit

退出，认输

例句：I quit. This game is too hard. 我认输了。这游戏太难了。

5、 Done

认输了，不玩了。

例句：I’m done. We’ll never finish it in time. 我不玩了。我们肯定不能按时完成的。

6、 Wave the white flag

举白旗

例句：We’re up by 30 points. They’ll be waving the white flag soon. 我们领先了30分。他们马上就要举白旗了。

7、 Pull out of

退出

例句：We’re pulling out of the tournament because we don’t have enough people. 我们要退出锦标赛，因为我们人不够。

8、 Wash one’s hands of

洗手不干了，金盆洗手

例句：I’m washing my hands of alcohol. I want to take better care of myself. 我要戒掉酒精了。我想好好照顾我自己。
