中文版《没离开过》的原曲为Céline Dion的歌曲《I surrender》。
在某次Celine Dion的演唱会上，林志炫听到这首歌后，对曲子的结构层次赞叹不已，从此念念不忘。
之后，他与老搭档、著名作词人楼南蔚沟通，在原曲基础上填入中文歌词，最终打造出了这首大气磅礴又情感丰富的《没离开过》。
“我眺望远方的山峰
却错过转弯的路口
蓦然回首
才发现你在等我没离开过……”
优美的旋律搭配情感真挚的歌词让人为之感动与沉醉。
斯文的眼镜、清秀的脸庞、一身的文质彬彬，林志炫总给人一种儒雅清冷的感觉。但从他的演唱中却能听出他丰沛的感情。从最初的涓涓细流到感情的蓬勃喷发，一气呵成，游刃有余。
