调静音

put the phone on mute/ set the phone to mute.

比如：

(1).You should put your phone on mute when you are in your class.

当你在上课的时候，应该把手机调静音。

(2).It’s polite to set your phone to mute or turn it off when you are on a meeting.

当你在开会的时候，把手机调静音或者关机是比较礼貌的行为。
