今天由YoKID 北苑校区Fernando 老师带来流传度很广的英文童谣《The Itsy Bitsy Spider》，整首歌曲调非常好听，歌词都是押韵的，连读起来非常顺口。 这是由一首备受孩子喜爱，到处传唱的童谣，延伸而成一个奋发向上的故事。
《The Itsy Bitsy Spider》的绘本讲述的是一个有关毅力与坚持的经典故事 ：描写了一有只小蜘蛛顺着房子的水管，奋力往上爬，雨水从管道里流下，可怜的小蜘蛛被冲回了地面;小蜘蛛继续努力地往上爬呀爬，一阵风吹来，又让它的努力白费……
但是小蜘蛛凭着努力不懈的精神，最终不仅爬进了排水口，也顺利地钻进厨房的墙、经过水桶、摇椅、枫树…，最后历经艰险在最高处织了一张完美的网。

语言特点： 几乎每段前面都有一句是倒装句，比如Down came the rain，Out came the sun，Off went the fan等等。 这样表示强调，且更加生动。 给孩子读的时候也可以顺着读，比如： The sun came out.

小小的蜘蛛沿着排水管爬呀爬

雨水倾泻而下，把蜘蛛冲了回去

In came a mouse and flicked her with his tail.
Down fell the spider. The mouse ran out the door.
Then the itsy bitsy spider
climbed up the pail once more.
老鼠进来了，用尾巴弹落了小蜘蛛
小蜘蛛掉下大桶，老鼠跑出了房间
然后小小的蜘蛛又开始沿着大桶向上爬呀爬
The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the rocking chair.
小小的蜘蛛爬上了摇摇椅
Up jumped a cat and knocked her in the air.
猫儿跳起来，把小蜘蛛拍飞了
Down plopped the cat and when he was asleep,
the itsy bitsy spider back up the chair did creep.
The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the maple tree.
猫儿扑通跳下去，睡着了
小小的蜘蛛又沿着摇摇椅向上爬呀爬
小小的蜘蛛爬上了一棵枫树
She slipped on some dew and landed next to me.
Out came the sun and when the tree was dry,
the itsy bitsy spider gave it one more try.
小小的蜘蛛在露水上滑了一跤，落在我身边
太阳出来蒸干了露珠，小小的蜘蛛再一次努力爬上枫树
The itsy bitsy spider climbed up without a stop.
小小的蜘蛛一刻不停爬上了大树
She spun a silky web right at the very top.
She wove and she spun and when her web was done,
小小的蜘蛛在最高处织了一张银色的网
织呀，编呀，小小蜘蛛的网完成啦
