“难吃”用英语怎么说？

“难吃”最常见的口语表达是

It tastes bad.

It doesn't taste good.

It tastes horrible.

上面三句都是这东西好难吃的意思，如果你想形容的极端些，想表达你吃到的东西令你反胃或者这道菜看起来就没什么食欲，可以用disgusting或revolting来表达令人厌恶，恶心的意思。

例：

That dessert tastes disgusting!

那个甜点可真难吃！

I wouldn't eat that. I'm sure it'd be revolting.

我不会吃那个的，我敢肯定它很难吃。

关于难吃

1. yukky 难吃的，恶心的，讨人厌的，不愉快的

Where did you get this food? It was yukky.
你从哪里弄了这吃的？那么难吃。

2. doesn’t taste good/ tastes bad/ tastes off/ tastes funny/ tastes horrible 很难吃，味道很怪，味道不太对，味道很糟糕

例：

It tastes a little off. 这个东西味道不太对。

Left a bad taste in my mouth 在嘴里留下了不好的味道

它可以指真正的食物，很不好吃留下了不好的味道。也可以用来指某人做了一件让你很不舒服的事情。

例：

3. like cardboard

cardboard真正意思是“硬纸板”；中文有类似的比喻：味同嚼蜡，用来形容不好吃的食物。

4. unsavory

savory是“带有香味的”，延伸为“美味可口的”；英语中相对比较礼貌、委婉的说法。

5. poorly cooked

6. the pits
