一、 “大娃娃”是谁?
“大娃娃”的大名叫马克·扎克伯格(Mark Zuckerberg)是美国互联网科技企业家巨头和慈善家,因为他永远有着一张可爱和聪慧的娃娃脸,不因年龄而改变,所以我给他起了个昵称叫“大娃娃”,既形象又亲切。
“大娃娃”是脸书Facebook的创始人兼首席执行官,以靠个人杰出才能成为世界上最年轻的亿万富翁而著称。2020年5月,他的净资产为756亿美元,折合人民币约5000亿元。
在2019-2020年的冠状病毒大流行中,“大娃娃”捐赠了2500万美元用于寻找这种疾病的治疗方法,他还宣布了另外2500万美元的赠款。
二、 “大娃娃”的童年与中学教育
大娃娃于1984年5月14日出生于纽约州一个受过高等教育的犹太人家庭,家庭富裕、有地位、受人尊敬。他的父亲是医学博士,在家庭住所主办私人牙科诊所,母亲也是医学博士,是精神科医生。大娃娃就是在这样的犹太人家庭中教养长大,而犹太民族是世界上最神奇的民族之一,犹太人极为重视子女的教育,犹太人对有知识、有智慧、有创造性的人备加尊敬。
大娃娃从小就对计算机产生了兴趣,为了培养大娃娃对计算机的浓厚兴趣,他的父亲亲自教给他编程,后来他的父母聘请私人计算机导师每周到家一次辅导他。
他与朋友们一起编写了一些有趣的电脑游戏,社会上大多数孩子都爱玩电脑游戏,而大娃娃却更喜欢创造编写电脑游戏,爱看希腊冒险之旅的故事。在读高中时,大娃娃就到他家附近的大学攻读计算机学科的课程;他构建了一个程序用于父亲的家庭牙科诊所各房间所有计算机之间的相互通信,还开发了一款音乐软件。

三、 大娃娃的大学教育经历

四、 大娃娃创办互联网脸书公司

大娃娃在哈佛大学的一次联谊会上认识了本校学生陈慧娴(Priscilla Chan),陈慧娴是纯粹的中华民族后代,父母以难民身份从东南亚移民到美国,陈慧娴与大娃娃从2003年开始约会。2010年9月,大娃娃邀请陈慧娴,那时在加州大学念医学博士,到他租的房子一起同居生活,大娃娃还向女友学习中文。 2012年5月19日,这对长期伴侣在脸书公司上市的第二天结了婚。2015年12月1日,大女儿出生,2017年8月迎接了第二个女儿,这两个女儿无疑都有中华民族的血统。

Mark Zuckerberg founded the social-networking website Facebook out of his college dorm room at Harvard University. Zuckerberg left college after his sophomore year to concentrate on the site.
Zuckerberg attended Harvard University, where he launched the Facebook social networking service from his dormitory room on February 4, 2004, with college roommates. Zuckerberg took the company public in May 2012 with majority shares. His net worth is estimated to be nearly $75.6 billion as of May 2020. In 2007, at age 23, he became the world's youngest self-made billionaire.
2. Early life and mid-high school years
Zuckerberg was born on May 14, 1984, in White Plains, New York, into a comfortable, well-educated family. He was raised in the nearby village. Zuckerberg’s father ran a dental practice attached to the family's home. His mother worked as a psychiatrist before the birth of the couple's four children.
Zuckerberg developed an interest in computers at an early age; when he was about 12, he created a messaging program he named "Zucknet." His father used the program in his dental office, so that the receptionist could inform him of a new patient.
Together with his friends, he also created computer games just for fun. "I had a bunch of friends who were artists," he said. "They'd come over, draw stuff, and I'd build a game out of it."
At Ardsley High School, Zuckerberg excelled in classes. After two years, he transferred to the private school Phillips
Exeter Academy, where he won prizes in mathematics, astronomy, physics, and classical studies. In his youth, he also
attended the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth summer camp. On his college application, Zuckerberg stated that he could read and write French, Hebrew, Latin, and ancient Greek. He was captain of the fencing team.
Zuckerberg began using computers and writing software in middle school. His father taught him programing, and later
hired software developer to tutor him privately. Zuckerberg took a graduate course in the subject at Mercy College near his home while still in high school. During Zuckerberg's high school years, he also worked to build a music player.
3. Mark Zuckerberg's College Experience
Zuckerberg enrolled at Harvard University in 2002. By the time Zuckerberg began classes at Harvard, he had already achieved a "reputation as a programming prodigy".
It was at that time that he built a program called CourseMatch, which helped students choose their classes based on the course selections of other users. He also invented Facemash, which compared the pictures of two students on campus and allowed users to vote on which one was more attractive.
On February 4, 2004, Zuckerberg launched “Facebook". After his sophomore year, Zuckerberg dropped out of college to devote himself to his new company, Facebook, full time. On May 25, 2017, Zuckerberg finally received an honorary degree from Harvard.
4. Mark Zuckerberg and Founding Facebook
Zuckerberg and his friends created The Facebook. The group ran the site out of a dorm room at Harvard University until June 2004.That year Zuckerberg dropped out of college and moved the company to Palo Alto, California.
In May 2012, Facebook had its initial public offering, which raised $16 billion, making it the biggest Internet IPO in history. In 2013, Facebook made the Fortune 500 list for the first time. Until 2020, Facebook is still very promising.
5. Personal life, wife, and daughters
Zuckerberg met his then-future wife, fellow student Priscilla Chan, at a fraternity party during his sophomore year at Harvard. They began dating in 2003. In September 2010, Zuckerberg invited Chan to move into his rented house. Zuckerberg also studied Mandarin from her. On May 19, 2012, Zuckerberg and Chan married. Zuckerberg has two daughters, Max, born on November 30, 2015, and August, born on August 28, 2017.
6. Mark Zuckerberg’s Donations and Philanthropic Causes
Since amassing his sizeable fortune, Zuckerberg has used his millions to fund a variety of philanthropic causes. In November 2015, Zuckerberg and his wife also pledged in an open letter to their daughter that they would give 99 percent of their Facebook shares to charity.
"We are committed to doing our small part to help create this world for all children," the couple wrote in the open letter that was posted on Zuckerberg's Facebook page. "We will give 99% of our Facebook shares during our lives to join many others in improving this world for the next generation.
