7月1日，黄埔有轨电车1号线示范段（长平站—永和新丰站）正式开通试运营！此次开通试运营的有轨电车1号线示范段长约7公里，设10站9区间，其中地铁长平站与地铁21号线接驳，半小时可直通广州市区；站点接驳327、345A、396、330等10条公交线，20分钟沿线直达，并同步配套两条便民服务车服务。

The first phase of Huangpu Tram Line 1 in Guangzhou's Huangpu district started service yesterday (July 1).With 10 stations, the initial phase will run between Changping Subway Station (地铁长平站) and Xinfeng Lu (新丰路) station.

The first phase will open to traffic during 6:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. every day, with a departure interval of nine minutes at peak hours (7 - 8:30 a.m.). An one-way ticket will cost two yuan.

Passengers are able to transfer to Guangzhou Metro Line 21 at Changping Subway Station and travel to downtown Guangzhou within 30 minutes. Some 10 buses are also put in place to facilitate the commuters' traveling along the tram line, including NOs. 327, 345A, 396 and 330.
