皮蛋是我们中国特有的也很常见的一种食品，但因为它黑乎乎的外表给人一种放了很久的感觉，于是没见过皮蛋的外国人给它取来了一些有趣的名字——世纪蛋（century egg）、百年蛋（hundred-year egg），甚至是千年蛋（thousand-year egg, millennium egg）。当然，真实世界中，皮蛋肯定不是千百年前的蛋，但如果真的有蛋“腌渍”了上千万年，它会是什么样呢?

而科学家也找到了最新的证据，证明了原始的恐龙蛋壳其实也是软的。

这项成果发表在《自然》杂志上，主要的研究对象是两种比较原始恐龙的蛋。
