1984年，美国快餐店Wendy's 拍摄了一则广告，讽刺竞争对手麦当劳和汉堡王的汉堡缺斤少两。
广告里的老太太坐在别的汉堡店生气地问道 “Where's the beef?”，该广告给商家带来了巨大的收益，而后这一说法也被广泛沿用，比如在美国总统候选人竞选，或者商界讨论真正价值的时候。
2020年疫情期间 ，Wendy's经历牛肉短缺的时候，又重播了这则广告。
