经过多名球友的提议与讨论，拟于2021年6月26日，在广东省东莞市举办“首届中国男子耆英英式橄榄球南北对抗赛”。本赛事旨在团结在中国的英橄社区，打造长期交流平台，中国老兵队将来会参与在中国香港和台湾，柬埔寨，泰国，菲律宾和越南等地已经成型的老兵赛事，为英式橄榄球在中国和亚洲的发展贡献一份力量。现诚邀35岁+球友（Old Boys）参与！
注：耆[qí]英，高年硕德者之称。在此指35岁左右及以上的球友。2021年12月31日满35周岁者均可上场，并欢迎34岁以上的球友来做替补：）
After discussions with many old boys and planning led by Frankie Lam, we are pleased to announce the "First All China North-South Vets Rugby Match" in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province on June 26, 2021. This tournament aims to unite the rugby community in China, create a long-term communication platform, and contribute to the development of rugby across the country. We sincerely invite all 35-year-old+ ruggers regardless of nationality to participate!
Note: Anyone 35 years old and over on December 31, 2021 can play, and players over 34 years old are welcome as substitutes.

2021年的首届耆英赛，拟定以南北对抗赛形式进行，15或10人制，不分国籍。爱中国，并定居在中国，暂以现居所为划分标准，下图中横线以上为北区，以下为南区，上海暂被划为为北区，后期视报名情况可调整。
The first match in 2021 is planned to be held in the form of a north-south rivalry, in either a 15s or 10s format. The team breakdowns will be based on residency grounds in China with the North squad living in regions above the dividing horizontal line in the map below, and the South squad from the areas below. Shanghai is classified as the North at the moment, though it may be adjusted according to registration numbers.
选择东莞，是因为好友的工厂以及广州的赞助商都在附近，而且有不错的真草球场可供使用。
Dongguan has been chosen as the host venue due to the availability of good grass pitches and the proximity to sponsors in nearby Guangzhou.
作为外国球友眼中见证中国英橄过去二三十年发展的一群人，活动组织者中一位42岁兄弟说：“我在上海度过20年非常快乐的橄榄球生活。我们这个年龄，能见一次就减少一次。今年不知道明年的事情。要是知道自己不知道什么时候再有机会打球，大家都是会好好珍惜的” “特别是到了一定的年龄，需要有合适的理由去放松自己，回忆一下过去打橄榄球的日子……”
One of the organizers is 42 year old,he has witnessed the development of rugby in China in the last three decades with the last 20 years in the Shanghai rugby scene. For him, every chance to be able to put on the boots and take the pitch with old mates is a cherished opportunity. Mark the weekend down in the calendar and recall the good old days of playing rugby!
