China's State Council Information Office officially released a white paper on the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) on Sunday. The white paper introduces central policies and achievements of the construction of Hainan FTP over the past year, which focuses on trade and investment.

6月20日上午，《海南自由贸易港建设白皮书（2021）》正式发布。白皮书重点从贸易自由便利、投资自由便利、跨境资金流动自由便利、人员进出自由便利、运输来往自由便利、数据安全有序流动、现代产业体系、税收制度、社会治理、法治建设、风险防控等十一个方面描述了《海南自由贸易港建设总体方案》确定的相关政策和制度实施情况。

Hong Kong can support the internationalization of the renminbi (RMB) and provide diversified financing services for companies on the Chinese mainland, Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government said on Sunday.

香港特别行政区行政长官林郑月娥以视频连线的方式出席“2021凤凰网（夏季）财经峰会”。她在开幕演讲中表示，香港可以助力人民币国际化。在中央政府支持下，香港是全球最大的离岸人民币业务枢纽，在人民币结算、融资及资产管理方面均具领导的地位，并提供多元化的人民币产品与服务。

Updates on COVID-19.疫情简报：

The Chinese mainland recorded 17 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday – one locally transmitted in Dongguan, Guangdong Province and 16 from overseas. Dongguan has beefed up efforts to conduct nucleic acid tests for all citizens since last weekend as the city reported 2 local cases in the past three days.

国家卫健委数据显示，6月20日0-24时，31个省（自治区、直辖市）和新疆生产建设兵团报告新增本土确诊病例1例，东莞报告，新增境外输入病例16例。6月21日当日对东莞全市开展全员核酸检测。

More than 1 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines had been administered in China by Saturday, as the country is pushing ahead with the largest vaccination drive in the history of New China. It took the country just five days to hit its most recent 100-million dose increase, according to daily updates by the National Health Commission (NHC).

中国国家卫健委6月20日发布消息称，中国累计接种新冠疫苗数量已超过10亿剂次，离9亿剂次仅过去5天时间。这一疫苗接种数量超过全球总量的三分之一。

CPC Leads a Century’s Progress建党百年，开创新局

China has been optimizing its foreign investment environment for decades, attracting more foreign investment into the country. As China reopened for foreign investment in 1978, China’s actual use of FDI has increased 60 folds, from $2.7 billion in 1983 to $163 billion in 2020, surpassing the US to be the biggest recipient of FDIs globally. According to the Ministry of Commerce, China’s Outward FDI jumped from $26 billion in 2002 to over $196 billion in 2016, ranking second globally.

几十年来，中国一直在不断优化外商投资环境，吸引更多外资进入中国。自1978年中国重新开放外商投资以来，中国实际利用外资从1983年的27亿美元增长到2020年的1630亿美元，增长了60倍，超过美国成为全球吸收外资最多的国家。根据商务部的数据，中国的对外直接投资从2002年的260亿美元跃升到2016年的1960多亿美元，位居全球第二。

China’s crackdown on cryptocurrency "mining" has extended to the southwestern province of Sichuan, after a few other provinces carrying out measures to regulate mining activities. China is taking a tougher stand on cryptocurrencies as financial institutions and payment companies have now been barred from providing services concerning cryptocurrency transactions, and investors have been warned against engaging in speculative crypto trading.

中国各省陆续开始整顿“挖矿”行为。据报道，继内蒙古、青海之后，四川拟清退虚拟货币挖矿项目。对于虚拟货币“挖矿”，在川相关电力企业需要在6月20日前完成甄别清理关停工作。中国此前已禁止金融机构和支付公司提供与加密货币交易相关的服务，并警告投资者不要进行加密货币投机交易。

China's 2021 box office revenue topped 27 billion yuan late on Sunday evening. The achievement this year came about 20 days later than in 2019 to hit the same milestone, data from box office tracker Maoyan shows.

猫眼数据显示，截至6月20日晚间，2021年度中国电影总票房突破 270 亿元人民币（约合 41.9 亿美元）。今年的这一突破比 2019 年晚了大约 20 天，当时中国的年度票房总额在 5 月 31 日同样突破270亿。

Switching gears to the financial sector.金融市场要闻：

China's first batch of infrastructure real estate investment trusts (REITs) began trading Monday, with five on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and four on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The price change limit is 30 percent on the first day of listing and 10 percent after that. The nine infrastructure REITs are expected to channel investment into projects such as highways, industrial parks, storage and logistics, and sewage treatment.

6月21日，首批基础设施公募REITs这一全新产品将正式上市交易。据悉，9只公募REITs产品将分别在沪市和深市上市交易。REITs主要投资于具有稳定现金流的成熟不动产，首日最大涨跌幅可达30%，此后涨跌幅为10%。

China's one-year loan prime rate (LPR), a market-based benchmark lending rate, came in at 3.85 percent Monday, unchanged from the previous month. The over-five-year LPR, on which many lenders base their mortgage rates, also remained unchanged from the previous reading of 4.65 percent, according to the National Interbank Funding Center.

中国人民银行授权全国银行间同业拆借中心公布，2021年6月21日贷款市场报价利率（LPR）为：1年期LPR为3.85%，5年期以上LPR为4.65%，保持不变。据梳理，从2020年5月开始LPR报价“14连平”。

Wrapping up with a quick look at the stock market.最后来看今日收盘情况：

Chinese stocks finished higher Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.12 percent, at 3529 points. The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.4 percent higher at 14641 points. Stocks related to steel and military industry went strong, while shares related to baijiu and coal mining led the losses.

周一股市持续震荡，午后尾盘小幅拉升。截至收盘，沪指涨0.12%，报3529.18点；深成指涨0.4%，报14641.29点。钢铁股、国防军工股走强，白酒股持续走低，煤炭股跌幅居前。
