In albumDreaming Julie, the real world expands gradually, in a manner of highly extraction. To understand the albumDreaming Julie, we must forget the bandDreaming Julie. Forgetting the band, so you may explore a set of system that reproduces the absurd reality with all means of sounds. In other words, the albumDreaming Julieis an immense OST for a world arranged by the bandDreaming Julie. Seriousness, tightness and unity embodies the whole album, of which abandoning almost all present styles is inevitable. 专辑录制开启。专辑录音师吕龙正在为鼓组进行拾音搭建及调试。

The recording of album commenced. Recording engineer Lyu Long was setting up the drums and the sound picking-up system.

鼓&打击声部率先开始录制。

Liu Pi started to record the drums & percussion part.

鼓&打击声部完成录制，贝斯声部录音开启。

The drums & percussion part finished. The bass part began.

贝斯完成录制，吉他声部录音开启。

The bass part finished and the guitar part started.

专辑录音师訾鹏正在为吉他录音。

《和平饭店》特邀大提琴叶宛完成大提琴声部创作及录音。至此所有器乐声部录音完成。

Guest cellist for Peace Hotel Ye Wan finished the composition and recording of the cello part. All parts finished.

北京特大暴雨。全员彻夜闭关地下录音棚通宵讨论专辑后期工程。

The whole team stayed up all night in the studio, discussing the album post-production, as a strong rainstorm hit Beijing .

专辑缩混工作完成，专辑发至英国伦敦，由Metropolis Studio 的母带工程师Andrew Baldwin完成母带制作。

The mixing finished. Tracks were sent to Metropolis Studio in London to be mastered by Andrew Baldwin, a renowned marstering engineer.

英格兰国家队与意大利国家队争夺德劳内杯，最后在点球大战中惜败。

After fierce competing, England was still defeated by Italy in Delaunay Cup in the final penalty shootout.

收到Baldwin发来邮件称，专辑《发梦茱莉》使一位万分沮丧的英格兰球迷重新振作。

Mastering completed, Baldwin said in his E-mail to our team that Dreaming Julie had cheered him up though England lost the Delaunay Cup.

数字专辑国内外全平台正式开始发行。

The digital version of the album was being released on all major platforms domestically and abroad.

Dreaming Julie

发梦茱莉由三名多栖艺术家冯昊、刘㔻、杨滔2015年成立于北京，其创作不断尝试解构传统与实验的边界，并将视听觉等多媒介融合一体化。发梦茱莉游走于世，又游离于世，以旁观者的眼光、采样拼贴的手段和融合爵士、实验、电子、摇滚的音乐技术创造着浮世绘式的当代现实配乐。作为少有的美术馆演出常客，发梦茱莉正在宣告一个以风格定义作品类型、以标签固化创作者的时代的终结。

Founded by artists Feng Hao, Liu Pi and Yang Tao in 2015 in Beijing,Dreaming Juliehas been contriving to deconstruct the boundaries of the traditional and the experimental, while largely integrating multiple media to their musical expression. Bold, radical, cynical and subjectively objective, they maneuver all means available, especially the so-called plunder phonics, and fuse techniques of Jazz, Experimental, Electronic and Rock to create a Ukiyoe-style soundtrack-type music for our modern world. The artistic facade ofDreaming Julie's expression made them a frenquently-invited group to perform in art museums, with some iconic exhibitions. Consistently obscuring the boundaries,Dreaming Julieis making an announcement that genres and labels are no longer the limiter of musicians, even music itself should not stand on the way.

从业逾二十年，参与多张音乐专辑录音制作，与国内外众多知名乐团、音乐节、演唱会合作，近些年开始参与电影原创配乐的环绕声混录。其中，就实验和先锋音乐而言，曾与John Zorn、大友良英、灰野敬二、珊寇、刘索拉等人展开合作。

With an experience of music production over two decades,Jack Guohas cooperated with a great number of bands and musicians in their albums, and worked with numerous concerts and music festivals. In recent years, he has also frequently participated in multi-channel surrounding sound recording and mixing of film soundtracks. Among those who cooperated with him, in the spectrum of experimental and avant-garde music, wereJohn Zorn, Otomo Yoshihide, Keiji Haino, Sainkho and Liu Sola.

Hong Qileis the guest electronic musician ofArtificial Antintelligence, the 5th track ofDreaming Julie. Hong is the founder of the label called Bwave and the audiovisual event Pixel Echo. He has been invited to perform in a number of art festivals, music festivals and art exhibitions, including Burning Man 2019, Hong Kong Sónar Music Festival, The Exhibition of Annual of Contemporary Art of China and Asian Digital Art Exhibition.

《发梦茱莉》Track06《和平饭店》特邀大提琴创作及演奏。数次赴欧洲参加国际音乐节，先后任中国青年交响乐团、英皇交响乐团及巴洛克乐团、中国爱乐乐团、全球华人乐团大提琴声部。现为朱亦兵大提琴乐团成员并客座国家大剧院交响乐团。

CellistYe Wanwas invited to compose and perform her cello part inPeace Hotel, the 6th track ofDreaming Julie. She has performed in many international music festival in Europe, and cooperated as the cellist with China Youth Symphony Orchestra, Royal Academy of Music Orchestra & Baroque Orchestra, China Philharmonic Orchestra and Global Chinese Music Community. She is now one of members of the Chu Yi-Bing Cello Ensemble and the guest cellist of National Centre for the Performing Arts Symphony Orchestra.
