Due to government routine inspection, a number of businesses in APM Shopping Center will need to close for a period of time. This includes Beijing Broadway Cinema(APM) which will until the inspection is requested. APM will refund any tickets sold as part of the 2021 Festival of German Cinema. 12月3日，2021年德国电影展在北京百老汇电影中心开始首部作品展映。本届电影展由德国电影协会主办、北京德国文化中心·歌德学院（中国）和百老汇影城协办。德国电影协会总经理西蒙娜·鲍曼女士（Simone Baumann）、德国电影协会中国代表安珂女士（Anke Redl）、北京德国文化中心·歌德学院（中国）柯理博士（Dr. Clemens Treter）以及德国电影展大使贾樟柯先生表达了对此次影展顺利举办的祝贺。

2021年德国电影展将以玛丽亚· 施拉德执导的《定制男友》拉开帷幕。本片女主角玛伦·艾格特是德国电影界最具潜力和才华的演员之一，凭借《定制男友》获得了柏林电影节最佳主角银熊奖，她通过视频向观众表示了问候。

今年新一届电影展选片顾问团队由三人组成，他们分别是：中国电影艺术研究中心（中国电影资料馆）资深研究员李迅、导演黄骥（代表作《笨鸟》），以及电影垂直类媒体「导筒」编辑部。

顾问团队从今年众多德国电影中，选出了6部佳作在北京百老汇电影中心进行放映，特别展映单元已于北京德国文化中心·歌德学院（中国）、北京法国文化中心与观众见面。其中百老汇展映包括在德国电影奖获得最佳故事片铜奖的《曲线球》、获得最佳音效的《噪音交响曲》、提名最佳摄影的《家》。萨拉·法齐拉特主演的《妮可》曾在支持电影界新人的德国马克思奥菲尔斯电影节上获得最佳女演员。此外，关注核能源污染的纪录片《无尽的核噩梦》也加入本次展映，以飨影迷。

今年德国电影展非常荣幸地邀请到贾樟柯先生和赵涛女士担任中国宣传大使。贾樟柯的长片处女作《小武》获柏林电影节青年论坛大奖，《三峡好人》获第63 届威尼斯国际电影节最佳影片金狮奖。2010 年，贾樟柯获瑞士洛迦诺国际电影节荣誉金豹奖。2013年，获第68届戛纳国际电影节最佳编剧奖。2015年，获戛纳国际电影节导演双周单元终身成就“金马车奖”。

赵涛在2012年凭借意大利影片《我是丽》获得第56届意大利电影大卫奖（意大利电影金像奖）最佳女演员奖，成为史上第一个获得该荣誉的亚洲女演员。2020年，获邀成为美国电影艺术与科学学院会员并获得奥斯卡金像奖评委资格。同年，被美国《纽约时报》评选为21世纪最伟大的25位演员，位列第八，是唯一入选的华人演员。

从2013年起，德国电影展每年举办，至今年已是第九年。一直以来，电影节都致力于将更多德国优秀当代电影带向更多中国观众，在今年这个新冠肺炎肆虐全球的特殊年份，德国电影展的意义将更加凸显。在未来为期两周的时间里，让我们一同在大银幕上感受德国电影的迷人魅力吧。

Alma is a scientist at the famous Pergamon Museum in Berlin. In order to obtain research funds for her work, she is persuaded to participate in an extraordinary study. Alma meets Tom, a machine in human form in a class of its own, created solely to make her happy. A comic-tragic tale about the questions of love, longing and what makes a human being human.

The year is 1999. Arndt Wolf, bio-weapons expert for the German intelligence service BND, is obsessed with the idea, that Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein is secretly producing weapons of mass destruction – despite the fact, that, in the course of a UN inspection mission, he and his colleagues had already scoured the whole country to no avail. And except for him, nobody at his agency really seems to be interested in the theory of Saddam’s WMDs. All of that changes, though, when Wolf is assigned to debrief a new intelligence source, Iraqi asylum seeker Rafid Alwan, codenamed “Curveball”. Alwan claims to have taken part in the production of biological weapons in Iraq – a major intelligence coup for the crisis-ridden German agency.
