The Endsville Me and You
“我尝试通过图片对各种亲密关系的维持和发展进行探索。当我们身处一段关系中时，是否有将自身意志强加于对方的情况发生？而对方则出于想‘要去维持这段关系’的状态下选择迁就。”
I intend to explore the maintenance and development of various intimate relationships through photography. When we are in a relationship, do we impose our will on the other person? And the other person will choose to compromise because they want to "maintain the relationship"?
“我通过将生活中常见物品所特有的符号特征进行摆放或与人物进行组合，通过物品的摆放，人物的动作以此来表现亲密关系中潜在规训。”
这种“选择迁就”的情况不仅仅体现在生活习惯，物品摆放，作息规律等等。更映射在于处于亲密关系中的人——“我”和“你”之间彼此对对方思想层面的规训。它使“我”思考：“我”的想法是“你”强加给“我”的还是这些关于生活的想法本就属于“我”。
This "compromise choice" not only embodies habits and customs, goods, routine, and so on. More mapping is in the intimate relationship between people - "I" and "you" to each other's discipline. It makes "me" wonder if "my thoughts" are forced upon "me" by "you" or if these thoughts about life belong originally to me in the first place.
