他的春联四上南京城门！
WND native's Spring Festival couplets to grace Nanjing gates
A pair of Spring Festival couplets written by Jiang Dongyong from WND was selected to hang on the Yijiang Gate this year, marking the fourth time that Jiang’s couplets have been chosen as the Spring Festival couplets for gates in Nanjing.
Jiang became blind due to a retinal detachment at 27 years old. He learned to use computer with the voice guidance system and has developed an interest in couplet creation through self-learning online. Now, his works can be seen in many scenic spots and ancient towns across the country and have been selected for major events such as the CCTV Spring Festival Gala and the Beijing Olympic Games.
近日，来自新吴区的蒋东永撰写的楹联入选了2022年的挹江门春联，这也是他第四次成为南京城门春联的撰写者。
蒋东永是一位盲人楹联家。1999年，27岁的他因视网膜脱落导致失明，后来在电脑读音引导下上网并对楹联创作一见钟情。如今，全国很多景区、古镇都能看到他的作品，他的作品也入选过央视春晚、北京奥运等重大活动。

无锡交响音乐厅，来了
Wuxi Symphony Hall to be built in WND
The news conference for the international solicitation of proposals for the Wuxi Symphony Hall, a part of the Wuxi Taihu Bay International Culture and Art Center, was held at the WND Convergence Media Center on Jan 21.
With a planned area of 100,000 square meters, the art center will include a symphony hall and two centers for art exchange and the performing arts. According to the conference, a total of five design agencies or consultancies that participated in the international solicitation of proposals will be selected to compete in the final selection process.
1月21日，无锡太湖湾国际文化艺术中心——无锡交响音乐厅方案国际征集新闻发布会在高新区融媒体中心举行。
无锡太湖湾国际文化艺术中心规划建筑面积共10万平方米，主要包含“一厅两中心”：一厅为无锡交响音乐厅，两中心分别为艺术交流中心和演艺商业中心。本次无锡交响音乐厅方案国际征集将从有志于参与的全球设计机构和团队中遴选5家参与最终评选。

无锡市与日本株式会社村田制作所召开深度合作视频推进会
Wuxi, Murata Manufacturing hold video promotion meeting
A video promotion meeting to discuss in-depth cooperation between Wuxi and Japanese electronic component manufacturer Murata Manufacturing Co was held on Jan 26.
Murata Manufacturing is a comprehensive manufacturer of advanced electronic components integrating R&D, production and sales. Wuxi Murata Electronics Co and Murata New Energy (Wuxi) Co, which are registered in WND in 1994 and 2000, have developed into the largest manufacturing base of Murata Manufacturing. In 2021, Murata's total sales in Wuxi were nearly 15 billion yuan ($2.36 billion).
1月26日下午，无锡市与日本株式会社村田制作所召开深度合作视频推进会。
村田制作所是一家集研发、生产和销售于一体的先进电子元器件综合制造商。近年来双方合作驶入快车道，位于无锡高新区的无锡村田电子有限公司和村田新能源（无锡）有限公司已经发展成为村田制作所规模最大的制造基地。2021年，村田在无锡销售总额近150亿元。

波士顿国际学校举办新春庙会
BIS celebrates Chinese New Year with temple fairs
Wuxi Boston International School in WND held temple fairs to celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival this week.
During the fairs, the traditional Chinese New Year culture and New Year folk culture of Korea and Japan were displayed at different booths. Senior students shared cultural knowledge with juniors through a series of fun interactions. Meanwhile, the kindergarten children brought audiences wonderful performances featuring Chinese kung fu and fan dancing.
1月27日和28日，无锡波士顿国际学校举办了新春庙会庆祝即将到来的春节。
庙会活动中，不同的展位展示了中国传统新年文化和韩国、日本的新年民俗文化。高年级学生也通过趣味互动的形式与学弟学妹分享各种文化知识。幼儿园的小朋友还给大家带来了精彩的中国功夫和扇子舞的表演。
