苏州工业园区德威联合书院成立于2012年，是第六所加入德威国际教育集团（DCI）学校大家庭的学校。苏州工业园区德威联合书院将“创意艺术”作为全人教育的核心理念，致力于培养学生的创造力和兴趣，引导学生追求卓越。

Jesse Yu是苏州工业园区德威联合书院2016届毕业生，本科毕业于洛约拉马利蒙特大学的影视制作和剧院艺术专业，现于纽约大学攻读互动媒体艺术硕士学位。对于影视艺术的浓厚兴趣与热情引领他一步步实现梦想，本文讲述了他的故事。

Jesse本科毕业于洛约拉马利蒙特大学的影视制作和剧院艺术专业，目前在纽约大学攻读互动媒体艺术硕士学位，兼任纽约大学上海校区的教学科技部助教。同时，Jesse也是一家TVC制作公司及一家科技初创公司的创始人及老板。

Jesse不仅是学校的优秀毕业生，更是德威社群的活跃校友。电影电视制作专业出身的他, 不仅在本科毕业后创立了自己的影视制作公司，同时在学术追求的道路上也一直兢兢业业，努力深耕。Jesse的职业理想是创立一家戏剧表演公司，结合自己的专业能力及文化背景，为国人提供优质的中文舞台剧及音乐剧表演。

Jesse is not only an outstanding graduate of school but also an active alumnus of Dulwich community. With a background in film and television production, Jesse has not only established his film and television production company but has also been working hard in his academic pursuits. His career aspiration is to establish a theatre performance company that combines his overseas experiences with Chinese culture to provide quality theatre and musical performances for the Chinese audience.

高中时期的Jesse, 通过戏剧课程的学习、戏剧表演、校园的各种课外活动及视频拍摄机会，发掘了自己的专业和职业兴趣- 影视制作及戏剧艺术。同时，这些经历也让曾经腼腆羞涩的男孩成长为自信成功的专业人士。在Jesse眼里，在德威就读的时光充满了各种机遇，给予他成功的机会，同时也允许他不断试错。老师们的肯定和鼓励，为他继续前行提供了莫大的勇气和信心。这些经历是他宝贵的人生财富，允许他不断探索自己和世界，帮助他一步步地成长。

During his high school years, Jesse explored his professional and career interests in film and television production and theatre arts through drama courses, theatre performances, various extracurricular activities on campus, and video shooting opportunities. At the same time, these experiences have helped the shy boy to grow into a confident and successful young professional. In Jesse's eyes, his time at DHSZ was full of opportunities, giving him the chance to succeed and allowing him to try and make mistakes. The recognition and encouragement from his teachers provided him with the courage and confidence to continuously pursue his passion. These experiences have been a valuable asset in his life, enabling his to explore his potential and possibilities in the wide world and helping him to grow step by step.

Jesse的职业成就来源于他对于影视艺术的浓厚兴趣、执着的追求、人际交往及资源利用能力及认真踏实的学习和工作态度。人们常说“兴趣是最好的老师”，而兴趣则来源于一个人持续的生活体验及自我探索。德威不仅提供灵活多样的学术课程及教师支持，还为学生创造种类繁多、培养多元能力的课外活动。学校也鼓励每一位学生，像Jesse一样，抓住每一次机会，不断积累自己的生活经验，探索自己的专业及职业兴趣，最终找到自己的职业理想。有梦想的人，配上足够的行动，一定拥有美好的未来。

People often say that "interest is the best teacher," so the best way to develop an interest is to gather relevant experiences and constantly reflect upon the outcomes. DHSZ offers a flexible and varied academic curriculum and support and create a wide variety of extracurricular activities for students to develop their diverse abilities. The school also encourage every student to seize every opportunity to build on their life experiences, explore their professional and career interests, and ultimately find their career aspirations. Those who have dreams must have a bright future.
