Over the past few days, 872,000 mu of corn in Pingyuan County has ushered in the harvest season, and the corn output in the core areas of production capacity construction of 180,000 mu of "half a ton of grain" in Taoyuan Street, Zhanghua Town and Yaozhan Town is particularly gratifying.
On October 11, in Wangshuangtang Village, Yaozhan Town, Pingyuan County, provincial and municipal experts measured the yield of maize. According to the yield measurement method of the grain and oil crop high-yield competition, the plot is selected, the area is measured, the harvester is used to beat, then the plot is weighed, the moisture and impurity content are measured, and the actual yield of the plot is calculated according to the standard formula.
On the spot, after measuring, manual threshing, weighing, moisture determination, sampling and impurity content determination, experts finally determined that the highest yield per mu in the core demonstration area of "half a ton of grain" in Yaozhan Town was 1046.98 kg.
Achievements can not be achieved without the dual efforts of policy and technology. Since last year, Pingyuan County has vigorously implemented the project of "Secretary Grasping Grain", established 524 command fields for cadres at all levels, invested 350 million yuan to implement 200000 mu of high-standard farmland construction project, and demonstrated and promoted the establishment of high-yield grain production in the county. At the same time, actively docking and introducing advanced scientific research achievements of scientific research institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Agricultural University and other universities, 100 agricultural technology experts of the County Agricultural and Rural Bureau went deep into the front-line technical guidance, vigorously promoted integrated technologies such as "two mornings and two nights" and green prevention and control, and realized the continuous and stable improvement of grain production capacity.

10月11日，在平原县腰站镇王双堂村，省、市专家对玉米进行了实打测产。根据粮油作物高产竞赛的测产办法，选择地块，测量面积，收割机实打，然后进行称重，测量水分、杂质含量，根据标准公式算出地块实际产量。
现场，专家经测量、手工脱粒、称重、水分测定、取样测定杂质含量等环节后，最终认定腰站镇“吨半粮”核心示范区亩产最高达1046.98公斤。
成绩的取得离不开政策加技术的双重发力。去年以来，平原县大力实施“书记抓粮”工程，建立各级干部指挥田524块，投资3.5亿元实施了20万亩高标准农田建设工程，示范带动全县粮食高产创建。同时，积极对接引进中科院、中农大等高校科研院所先进科研成果，县农业农村局百名农技专家全程深入一线技术指导，大力推广“两早两晚”、绿色防控等集成技术，实现了粮食产能的持续稳定提升。
