近日，2022年浙江省一流本科课程认定名单公布，宁波诺丁汉大学共有18门课程被认定为2022年度省级一流课程，入选课程覆盖商学院、人文与社科学院、理工学院。入选门类涵盖省级一流本科课程、省级一流本科国际化课程。加上此前已有的38门省级一流本科课程，至此，宁诺有56门本科课程获评省级一流课程。

宁诺还是第一所同时拥有国家级一流本科课程和一流本科专业建设点的中外合作大学。自教育部于2019年宣布启动“双万计划”以来，宁诺已有“项目设计”、“营销管理学”两门课程入选首批国家级一流本科课程。而在专业建设方面，去年宁波诺丁汉大学工业设计、国际事务与国际关系两个专业入选省级一流本科专业建设点。加上此前已有的一个国家级一流本科专业（财务管理），以及七个省级一流本科专业（环境工程、材料成型及控制工程、化学工程与工艺、电气工程及其自动化、土木工程、传播学，以及国际经济与贸易），宁诺近半数的本科专业被评为国家级或省级“一流”本科专业建设点。

一直以来，宁波诺丁汉大学高度重视课程与专业建设。学校将英国诺丁汉大学的优势学科与中国社会经济发展需求相结合，嫁接培育出具有中国特色的国际化学位课程，使中国学生能以较低的成本接受世界优质高等教育。

宁波诺丁汉大学将继续坚持“以学生为中心”的办学理念，持续推进课程建设，着力建设既具有高阶性、创新性、挑战度，又具有课程育人时代性、针对性、实效性的一流本科课程；进一步改变“教师讲、学生听”的传统课堂，打造“多元化”课堂，进一步推进信息技术在教育教学中的深度应用，搭建混合式、多样化教学平台。学校将坚持以一流本科课程为引领，充分发挥一流本科课程的示范带动作用，不断提高学校教学质量和学生学习体验。

Another 18 UNNC modules recognised as Provincial Level “First Class” UG Modules

According to the latest results of the 2022 Provincial First Class Undergraduate Module Scheme which were announced recently, the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) has 18 undergraduate modules awarded with provincial level “First-Class” status, including modules from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Science and Engineering and Nottingham University Business School China. In addition to the 38 previously accredited modules, UNNC now has a total of 56 provincial level First-Class undergraduate modules.

In 2020, two UNNC undergraduate modules, Design Project and Marketing Management were recognised by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China as the first batch of National-Level First-Class Undergraduate Modules. These two modules are the only English courses in China to have made it on the list. UNNC is the first Sino-foreign university to be awarded with both national First-class undergraduate programmes and modules.

In terms of undergraduate programme development, the BEng Product Design and Manufacture and BA International Studies undergraduate programmes of UNNC were both awarded with provincial level “First-Class” status in 2021. In addition to the previously awarded national level First-Class undergraduate programme (BSc Finance, Accounting and Management), and seven provincial level First-Class undergraduate programmes (BEng Environmental Engineering, BEng Mechanical Engineering, BEng Chemical Engineering, BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering, BEng Civil Engineering, BA International Communications Studies, BA International Economics and Trade), nearly half of UNNC undergraduate programmes have now been rated as First-Class programmes.

UNNC has consistently attached great importance to its curriculum development, combining key disciplines of the University of Nottingham with China’s social and economic development needs, as well as to establishing international degree programmes with Chinese characteristics so that students can receive world-class higher education at a lower cost.

UNNC is dedicated to creating student-centred and diverse classrooms, further promoting the in-depth application of information technology in education, developing high-end, innovative and effective first-class undergraduate modules, and building a comprehensive and diversified teaching platform. The university will take advantage of the leading first-class undergraduate programmes to improve the quality of teaching and promote students' learning experience unremittingly.
