UNNC graduates continue to achieve high quality employment.

开年伊始，多地打响“抢人大战”之时，宁波诺丁汉大学学生喜报频传，化学工程专业2位毕业生斩获剑桥大学的录取通知书，英语语言文学专业的吕伊尹获得剑桥大学的录取通知书，化学专业尹卓更是一举拿到牛津大学、剑桥大学双料录取。

不光升学表现喜人，学校毕业生还凭借外语优势、跨文化交流的能力，以及团队合作的精神，获得了各大知名企业的认可。

“宁诺作为一所没有‘围墙’的大学，学校的国际化氛围与我们德勤公司是相契合的。宁诺学生在工作中体现出的国际化视野和思维以及独立思考的能力也是当下各企业和公司非常需要的。”德勤财务咨询合伙人Kenneth Law这样评价宁诺学子。

本科毕业生受

全球知名企业青睐

2022届金融财务与管理专业的本科毕业生吕雨婷毕业前就已拿到了全球四大财务咨询公司德勤的录用通知，目前她正在该公司就职。

“本科期间，商学院开设了很多公开课，请业界‘大佬’来分享行业见解、时事分析，当时我参加了不少。这不仅帮助我掌握行业前沿动态，也启发我将课堂理论应用于真实的商业环境。”吕雨婷表示，学校完善的生涯发展体系在潜移默化之中帮助她少走不少弯路，她通过学校组织的各类活动，顺利通过了许多公司的网申，得到了面试和实习的机会。这让她确定了自己到底喜欢做什么，也找到了自己的擅长所在。

商学院国际体验式学习项目进行中

数据显示，这几年宁诺本科生延续了高质量就业。不少学生入职了中国工商银行、中国建设银行、中国石油集团等国有及国有控股企业中，或进入了如宁波市鄞州区人力资源和社会保障局、上海交通大学、雄安创新研究院等政府机关、事业单位中。入职外资及合资企业学生中，92.0%进入世界500强和全球行业龙头企业就职，如德勤、普华永道、毕马威、埃森哲、安永、百度等。选择在民营企业就职的毕业生中，80.8% 的毕业生在大型集团、上市公司、知名国内企业工作，如支付宝、阿里巴巴影业、天健会计师事务所等。

硕博毕业生

大多去往企事业单位

与此同时，社会对高层次人才的需求逐步凸显。根据就业指导办公室发布的近几届硕博毕业生数据，宁诺硕士毕业生中，去往政府机关、事业单位、地方基层就业项目的毕业生比例最高，达到35%；其次是民营企业，达到29%。另有22%%的毕业生进入国有及国有控股企业，14%的毕业生进入外资及合资企业。博士毕业生中，70%入职高等教育单位，如宁波诺丁汉大学、广东以色列理工大学、浙江大学、上海大学、南方科技大学、海南大学等。

目前，以“精英博士后”身份被中国科学院城市环境研究所聘用的地理科学博士毕业生徐宇尧是老“宁诺人”了，从本科到博士，他与宁诺的联结已有9年时光。

本科时期的暑假科研项目让他结识了未来的导师——陈加信副教授，并参与了他的关于海绵城市研究工作的项目。读博期间，徐宇尧继续追随导师陈加信的步伐，参与微塑料污染的研究。

“在我最开始读博的时候，我的写作其实并不是很优秀，也常常会出现很多问题。幸而我得到了我的导师们以及中科院城市环境研究所多位研究员乃至院士的帮助，使我最终完成了博士期间的第一篇文章，并成功发表在了中科院一区的期刊上，使我的科研生涯走向正轨。”

凭借这篇文章的合作，徐宇尧和中科院城市环境研究所开启了后续更多的合作。通过博士答辩之后，徐宇尧也加入了研究所的流域水环境研究组，继续从事微塑料和其他污染物的研究工作。之后，徐宇尧还将自己对于微塑料的研究扩展到更大的空间尺度上。

UNNC graduates continue to achieve high quality employment

Since the beginning of new year, students from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) have received continuing good news in the job market. UNNC graduates are highly valued by leading companies with the advantage of strong language competence, cross-cultural communication skills, and teamwork spirit.

Kenneth Law, Financial Advisory Partner of Deloitte, was very impressed by UNNC students. "As a university without borders, the international atmosphere at UNNC matches well with the values we hold at Deloitte. The international outlook and critical thinking skills that UNNC students demonstrate in their work are very much in demand by companies today," he said.

Yuting Lv, a 2022 graduate of Finance, Accounting and Management, went on to work for Deloitte after graduation. She thinks that the professional guidance, internship support, and tailor-made services that UNNC offers, ensure that graduates are able to achieve optimal personal development to the maximum extent. She obtained multiple opportunities through the various activities and channels the university provided and figured out her real passion.

In recent years, UNNC graduates go on to achieve high quality employment. Many students entered state-owned and state-holding enterprises like China Construction Bank and China National Petroleum Corporation, or government agencies and institutions such as Shanghai Jiaotong University and Xiong’an Institute of Innovation. Of the graduates working in foreign and joint ventures, 92% are employed by Fortune 500 companies and global industry leaders such as Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, Ernst & Young, and Baidu. Among the graduates who chose to work in private enterprises, 80% work in large groups, listed companies, and well-known domestic companies, such as Alipay, Alibaba Pictures Group and Pan-China Certified Public Accountants.

For postgraduate students, approximately 35% chose to work in government, education, or public Institutions after graduation, 29% chose to work in private companies, 22% chose to work in state-owned enterprises, and 14% chose to work in foreign-invested enterprises and joint ventures. 70% of doctoral graduates took jobs in the education industry.

Yuyao Xu, for example, chose to further his research as an elite postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Urban Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences, after spending nine years at UNNC completing from undergraduate to doctoral study. He met his doctoral supervisor and decided his future research interests in the summer research placement programme, a unique extracurricular opportunity at UNNC.

Since the founding of UNNC, the brand value of being a “UNNCer” has been ever increasing and carries an excellent reputation among employers.

The recruitment director of L’Oreal (China) was deeply impressed by the international vision, concentration in work and learning as well as the perseverance in the face of challenge of UNNC students.
