7月28日，继首播大获成功之后，由BBC和亚马逊联合制作的奇幻喜剧《好兆头》（Good Omens）第二季在Prime平台一次性放出了6集。
看来是为了让观众看个过瘾，四年的等待丝毫没有减弱粉丝们的热情，相信已经有不少小伙伴已经先睹为快了。

《好兆头》讲的是麦克·辛(Michael Sheen)扮演的天使亚茨拉斐尔和大卫·田纳特（David Tennant）扮演的恶魔克劳利隐姓埋名生活在人间，为了阻止世界末日来临，维护世界的平静生活，数次联手合作，并擦出了火花的故事。
在第一季中，两个人成功守卫了人世间的和平，结局是标准HE。这也无形之间拉高了观众对第二季的期望值，大家都迫切想继续嗑天使与恶魔的“父母爱情”。
Good Omens’ second season just picks up and gets right back to detailing the millennia-long tale of how the angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and the demon Crowley (David Tennant) became acquaintances, then pals, and then something slightly... more than “just friends.”
《好兆头》第二季刚一开播，就重新开始详细讲述天使亚茨拉斐尔（麦克·辛 饰）和恶魔克劳利（大卫·田纳特 饰）如何相识，再到成为好朋友，最后成为有些……“不只是朋友”的长达千年的故事。
Good Omens season 2 does take place after the events of the first season (and the book that it’s based on), with Aziraphale and Crowley settling into a new normal after postponing the apocalypse. But it also includes long, extended flashback sequences within those present-day scenes, dubbed “minisodes.”
《好兆头》第二季的故事确实发生在第一季（以及根据其改编的书）的事件之后，亚茨拉斐尔和推迟了克劳利在世界末日之后开始了新的生活。但它也在这些现代场景中加入了延长的闪回情节，被称为“迷你集”。

If you’re in it for the Aziraphale and Crowley of it all (like I imagine many Good Omens fans are), then these flashbacks build out their history and establish moments in their relationship.

Sheen and Tennant embody them so perfectly, with an easy chemistry that makes any mundane interaction wonderful.

And since they are a demon and an angel, what’s mundane to them is fantastical to us, be it orchestrating the events of the Book of Job or digging up bodies in Scotland.

A naked archangel turns up at the door to renegade angel Aziraphale's bookshop, with no memory of who he is or how he got there, and Aziraphale and retired demon Crowley's lives become extremely complicated. Heaven and Hell are both desperate to find the runaway.
一个赤身裸体的大天使出现在叛逃天使亚茨拉斐尔的书店门口，他不记得自己是谁，也不知道自己是怎么来到这里的，亚茨拉斐尔和卸任的恶魔克劳利的生活被他搞得异常复杂。天堂和地狱都急于找到离家出走的这个大天使。
为了这个失忆的大天使，克劳利和亚茨拉斐尔还闹了矛盾，最后还是克劳利放下吃醋的心，给天使跳舞道歉。
这位大天使，就是第一季里出现过的加百列。亚茨拉斐尔和克劳利一边想尽办法保护他不被天堂和地狱两方势力发现，一边到处调查加百列到底为什么失忆。
第二季对加百列与恶魔头目别西卜的恋爱关系也给出了一个交待，加百列和别西卜被观众戏称为“上司组”，可以算是亚茨拉斐尔和克劳利感情线的对照了。
在第一季里同样出现过的两位修女，在第二季里也客串出演了亚茨拉斐尔的邻居。亚茨拉斐尔和克劳利再次管起了这两人的感情生活，一心想撮合她俩。
而女店主的一番话，也是推动克劳利吻天使的神助攻。
于是，克劳利和亚茨拉斐尔在第六集深情一吻了，但是，接下来的情节却……
有观众却说这一吻狠狠刀了自己！看来，编剧第二季的剧情有一点不合CP粉的心意，那到底天使和恶魔的感情线有没有背离原作者的初衷呢？
我们都知道，第一季是根据尼尔·盖曼（Neil Gaiman）和特里·普拉切特（Terry Pratchett）1990 年的热门小说《好兆头》改编的。两位作家最初所写的所有原始素材，在2019 年已经全部被改编成了第一季《好兆头》。
At the time, it was intended as a limited series. But the show was renewed for a second season in 2021, which is when Gaiman revealed he had hatched the idea for a sequel with Pratchett before his death in 2015.
当时，该剧打算作为一部限定剧。但该剧在 2021 年续订了第二季，盖曼这才透露，在普拉切特2015 年去世前，他曾与普拉切特一起萌生了拍摄续集的想法。
The prolific writers had long discussed ideas for a sequel, yet nothing had been fully realized at the time of Pratchett’s death in 2015. After writing the script for the first season alone, Gaiman teamed up with writer John Finnemore this time around to create fresh material, strongly influenced by his former talks with Pratchett.
这两位多产作家长期以来一直在讨论续集的构想，然而在普拉切特于 2015 年去世时，一切都还没有完全实现。在独自完成第一季的剧本创作后，盖曼这次与编剧约翰·芬尼莫尔合作，创作出全新的素材，这深受他之前与普拉切特谈话的影响。

"Terry’s not here any longer, but when he was, we had talked about what we wanted to do with ‘Good Omens,’ and where the story went next."

其实，观众的反应，作为编剧盖曼心里是很清楚的，对此他解释说：
"Because the hypothetical season three exists, there is a story that is there, and I didn’t feel that we could drive straight from season one into that."

Gaiman teased that the second season is actually a bridge between the first book and his original sequel idea. The new season also ends on a cliffhanger for Crowley and Aziraphale, which means fans are already eager for news about a Season 3. Today, Gaiman took to Twitter to reveal how fans can help make another season possible.
盖曼戏称，第二季实际上是第一部与他最初的续集想法之间的桥梁。新一季的结尾也给克劳利和亚茨拉斐尔留下了一个悬念，这意味着粉丝们已经迫不及待地想知道第三季的消息了。今天 盖曼在推特上透露了粉丝们可以如何帮助实现拍出新一季。
Gaiman replied to a fan who asked if there's hope for another season. "Ways to help make Good Omens Season 3 happen are A) watch Season 2, B) get people who know nothing of Good Omens to start watching S1, and C) encourage the studios to negotiate with WGA."
盖曼回答了一位粉丝关于是否有希望再拍一季的问题。 “帮助实现《好兆头》第三季的方法有： A）观看第二季； B）让那些对《好兆头》一无所知的人开始看第一季； C）鼓励工作室与美国编剧工会谈判。 ”
盖曼还告诉粉丝，自己也一样期待第三季。
