第十届国际铅锌大会将于2023年10月15~22日在长沙国际会议中心举行。届时，来自美国、加拿大、俄罗斯、日本、澳大利亚、挪威、墨西哥、新加坡等8个国家的11位外方院士及高级专家，10余位中方院士，110余位来自26个国家的外籍知名专家学者以及国内知名专家、科研人员、企业代表、青年学者等1200余人参会。

湖南矿产丰富，矿种齐全，是驰名中外的“有色金属之乡”。全省已探明的大型铅锌矿有十个矿区，其中储量超过100万吨的矿区有6个，全省铅锌矿的总储量达1000多万吨。铅锌矿的总储量和产品、产量均居全国三分之一。

国际铅锌大会（International Symposium on Lead and Zinc Processing）是国际上最具影响力的铅锌行业盛会，每3年或5年举办一次。本次国际铅锌大会为自1970年发起以来首次在中国举办。为贯彻落实习近平总书记在中共中央政治局第三次集体学习关于加强基础研究的重要论述，本届大会将聚焦铅锌产业基础研究与应用，邀请多名国内外该领域的著名专家做高端学术报告，探讨铅锌产业的发展前沿及其关键技术、设备研发。本次大会将对促进我省铅锌产业的研究、应用和发展起到积极作用。热忱欢迎各位科技工作者参会！
