上海协和国际外籍人员子女学校（Concordia）创建于1998年，是由中国教育部和上海市教委批准办学的外籍人员子女学校，获得美国西部学校与学院教育联盟WASC全面认证，为在沪的3至18岁外籍学生提供高水准的美式课程教育。
学校教学设施先进，旨在为学生提供全人教育的成长环境，并充分考虑各学段学生的发展需求。除针对不同教学目的而设计的教室和学习空间，还有图书馆、合唱和乐队排练室、艺术工作室、剧院等，教育教学设施一应俱全。

是什么让Concordia学前部的孩子们放学后还“沉迷”学习、乐在其中？少儿网球、击剑、数学探险、中文读写、自然与艺术、芭蕾……原来，学前部的课外拓展课程 (ECA) 这么丰富！
这学期开始，Concordia的ECA课程不再只是大孩子们的专属，幼儿园的小朋友们也有机会在放学铃声响起后，尽情探索一个充满惊喜和乐趣的世界！
Early Childhood ECA
学前部ECA每周三天，总共包含16节精彩课程，让同学们在玩乐中学习，在学习中成长！无论他们是喜欢运动、数学还是芭蕾舞，都有为他们量身定制的特色课程！
而且，带课老师大部分都是Concordia的教师，他们不仅熟悉学生，更对教育和终身学习充满热情。

Concordia的课外拓展课程不仅让同学们在课余时间充实快乐，更重要的是，它提供了一个安全、友爱的环境，让孩子们通过体验式学习获得更多成长。从幼儿园到高中，Concordia的课外活动丰富多彩，主题各异，能够满足不同阶段学生的需求和适龄发展。
算起来，ECA课程总数已经超过550节，可以让同学们有充分的机会尝试新活动或深入探索自己感兴趣的领域。有的活动甚至从小学一直延伸到高中，如VEX机器人、数学社、无人机社等。这种循序渐进的支架式教学，有助于学生们逐步培养和发展技能！

What keeps Concordia’s Early Childhood students excited about learning afterschool? From Mini Tennis to Fencing, Math Adventures to Chinese Literacy, and even Nature & Art and Mini Ballet, there’s a bunch of Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) waiting for them!
Our ECA program isn’t just for the big kids anymore. We’ve opened the doors wide for our students in the Early Childhood division, giving them the chance to continue their learning adventure after the final bell rings.
Early Childhood ECA
This semester we’re thrilled to offer a total of 16 Early Childhood ECA sessions per week, spread across three days, ensuring non-stop learning and excitement! Whether they’re a budding sports star, a math enthusiast, or a future ballet dancer, we’ve got something tailor-made for our youngest learners.
As an added bonus, the majority of our ECA instructors are dedicated Concordia faculty members who are familiar with Concordia students and are deeply passionate about both education and life-long learning.

At Concordia Shanghai, our extra-curricular program is not just about keeping kids busy after school; it provides additional exposure to experiential learning within a safe and nurturing environment. It aligns across grade levels, offering a thematic thread of intentional, age-appropriate activities starting in the early years up through high school.
With a selection of over 550 ECAs to choose from, Concordia students regularly have an opportunity to try new activities or learn more about a subject they have a deep interest in. Additionally, by taking part in certain activities, such as VEX Robotics, math clubs, and drone clubs, offered from elementary school to high school, students benefit from scaffolded learning that further develops their skills over time.
