At the promotion event held on the April 8th, Wu Zhengping, deputy director-general of the CIIE Bureau said that more than 600 companies including over 200 Fortune Global 500 enterprises and industrial leaders have booked an exhibition area of over 240,000 square meters at the business exhibition of the seventh CIIE. According to Wu, the CIIE is a stellar platform to showcase new quality productive forces. It is poised to be a standout feature of this year's CIIE.

With a history of nearly 140 years, Johnson Controls will participate in the CIIE for the seventh time this year, solidifying its status as a longstanding friend of the event. Jiang Wei, Director of the Asia Pacific Marketing Department at Johnson Controls, highlighted the company's success at last year's CIIE, noting, "We secured numerous significant orders during the CIIE." She further emphasized that the CIIE, as a global platform, consistently provides foreign enterprises with exceptional opportunities, saying, "Each year we participate, there is a renewed sense of excitement."

Huang Feng, president of the Shanghai Foreign Investment Association, underscored the immense market scale behind the CIIE, positioning it as a vital platform for foreign investment enterprises to debut new products, technologies, and services while exploring opportunities in China. The association has been steadfast in encouraging member companies to participate in the CIIE, leveraging it to expand their business and investments in China. Huang disclosed that, through collaborative efforts, a globally renowned American automotive parts supplier will make its debut at this year's CIIE.
