The Blessing in Disguise
在很久很久以前，有一个住在边疆的老爷爷，他有一匹漂亮的马。一天，这匹马突然跑走了，大家都为老爷爷感到难过。但老爷爷却说："也许这是件好事呢！"
Once upon a time, there lived an old man on the borderlands. He had a beautiful horse. One day, the horse suddenly ran away, and everyone felt sad for the old man. But the old man said, "Maybe this is a good thing!"
过了一段时间，那匹马带着一匹漂亮的野马回来了！大家都来祝贺老爷爷得到了两匹马。但是老爷爷说："也许这会是件坏事呢！"
After a while, the horse came back with a beautiful wild horse! Everyone congratulated the old man for having two horses now. But the old man said, "Maybe this will turn out to be a bad thing!"
老爷爷的儿子开始训练这匹野马，但不小心摔断了腿。大家都来安慰老爷爷，但老爷爷却说："也许这是件好事呢！"
The old man's son started training the wild horse, but accidentally broke his leg. Everyone came to comfort the old man, but the old man said, "Maybe this is a good thing!"
后来，村子里召集年轻人去打仗，老爷爷的儿子因为腿受伤不能去。这场战争很危险，很多年轻人都没有回来。但因为儿子的腿摔伤了，他就没有去打仗，所以他平安地留在家里。
Later, the village called up young men to go to war, but the old man's son couldn't go because of his injured leg. The war was very dangerous, and many young men did not return. But because the son broke his leg, he didn't go to war and stayed safely at home.
这个故事告诉我们，有时候事情看起来是坏的，但可能会带来好事。事情的好坏总是变化的，我们要学会看事情的另一面。
This story teaches us that sometimes things may seem bad, but they can bring good outcomes. The fortunes and misfortunes of life are always changing, so we need to learn to see both sides of a situation.
