Guangdong Province extends a warm invitation to tourists from all over China, especially those from Shandong, to indulge in a rich tapestry of cultural and tourism delights this May Day holiday. At a press conference for the "Hospitality from Shandong, Gastronomy from Guangdong" on April 30th, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism revealed that nearly 200 A-level tourist attractions and resorts in the province will roll out around 400 discounted offers and exciting experiential activities to welcome visitors from Shandong and beyond.

In addition to these discounts, tourist attractions, and resorts will extend their opening hours and enhance service capabilities to provide high-quality experiences for visitors from Shandong and other regions.

Several 5A-level tourist attractions such as Shaoguan Danxia Mountain, Zhaoqing Star Lake Scenic Area, Qingyuan Lianzhou Underground River Scenic Area, and Meizhou Yannanfei Tea Field are offering discounted tickets and annual pass promotions, allowing visitors to experience the charm of Lingnan's landscapes at favorable prices.

Having fun in GBA theme parks:

Theme parks like Guangzhou Chimelong, Zhuhai Chimelong, Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town Tourism Resort, and Rongchuang Cultural Tourism City are launching multiple interactive projects during the May Day holiday. Guangzhou Chimelong Water Park, which opened on April 20th, is offering tickets with the lowest price of 69 yuan, while Zhuhai Chimelong has introduced discounted packages with the lowest price of 1,333 yuan, ensuring visitors have a blast at these attractions.

Immersing in traditional Lingnan culture:

Guangzhou Lingnan Impression Park is hosting events like the Mazu pilgrimage tour and immersive storyline-based heritage games. Guangzhou Shawan Ancient Town is organizing food carnivals and a lion dance-themed shop exploration event. Meanwhile, attractions like Shantou Xiaogongyuan Cultural Port-opening Tourism Area, Chaozhou Ancient Town, and various street blocks are showcasing intangible cultural heritage such as gongfu tea, wood carving, and Chaozhuo embroidery. These are complemented by activities featuring trendy tea drinks, tea-related souvenirs, creative cultural products, specialty light diets, and themed travel photography, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in traditional culture.

Experiencing the vibrancy of coastal tourism:

From the eastern to the western coastline, a series of coastal theme activities are being held, including the Golden Coast Water Carnival at Shantou Zhonghai Longhu Beach Tourism Area, Sea Urchin Food Carnival at Shanwei Honghai Bay Tourism Area, Coastal Night Market at Zhuhai Dong'ao Island Tourism Resort, "May Day" Island Music Concert at Taishan Chuan Island Tourism Resort, and the Youthful Music Concert at Yangjiang Dajiao Bay Maritime Silk Road Tourism Area, enabling visitors to experience the vitality of coastal tourism in Guangdong.
