2024年5月29日是尚德融合部小学五年级学生的大日子,他们将汇聚了十周的辛勤探究智慧结晶,在这一天以小组形式精彩呈现!
28 groups, 47 integrated department Chinese and foreign mentors, 56 interviews and field explorations, 10418 questionnaires responses, resulting in 28 research reports and 152 exhibition books...May 29, 2024 is a big day for the fifth-grade students of Shangde Integrated Department. They gather the crystallization of ten weeks of hard work and wisdom, and present it brilliantly in groups on this day!
本届毕业成果展围绕“我们身处什么时空”超学科主题单元展开,在导师们的支持与指导下,学生们根据自己的兴趣所在,借助MISO工具,充分运用各种学习方法,对古埃及文明、古印度文明、拉美文明、阿拉伯文明、古希腊和罗马文明以及华夏文明展开深入探究。探究主题涵盖政治、文化、建筑、艺术、科学、宗教、哲学、服饰、饮食、语言、法律、医学等不同领域。
This graduation exhibition focus on the transdisciplinary unit "Where we are in place and time". With the support and guidance of the mentors, students formed 28 inquiry groups according to their interests. They made full use of ATL skills and MISO tools, and conducted in-depth explorations on ancient Egyptian civilization, ancient Indian civilization, Latin American civilization, Arab civilization, ancient Greek and Roman civilization, and Ancient Chinese civilization.

Opening Ceremony
在热烈的掌声和殷切的期待之下,尚德实验学校姜晓勇校长为孩子们拉开了“追溯文明的星河”主题卷轴,标志着毕业成果展正式启动。在活动现场,可以看到六位尊贵的文明使者从文明之门后穿越而来,激情讲述着各自的传世瑰宝,个个都争当文明C位呢!不仅如此,几位身着印度服饰的同学随着古典乐曲的节奏轻轻摇曳,让在场的每一个人都感受到了跨越国度的艺术魅力。接下来就感受一下不同文明的璀璨吧!
Principal Jiang Xiaoyong of Shangde Experimental School unveiled the "Tracing the starry river of civilization" theme scroll for us, marking the official launch of the graduation exhibition. We also saw six distinguished civilization envoys passionately narrating their respective timeless treasures. Moreover, several students dressed in Indian attire gently swayed to the rhythm of classical music, allowing everyone present to experience the unique artistic charm.

首先,走进神秘的拉美文明,在这里,可以通过建筑、文字、图腾和历法了解最具有代表性的玛雅文明。孩子的探究内容重塑了对于阿兹克特文明和印加文明的认识。
Let's first step into the mysterious Latin American civilization, where we learn about the most representative Mayan civilization and Aztec, Incan civilizations.

玛雅建筑小组通过师生集中讨论后,查阅了大量相关的专业文献与媒体资源。比如《玛雅艺术和装饰》,《帕伦克宫殿》,《墨西哥国家人类学博物馆》和《创世玛雅-神庙里的艺术密码》等。通过基础文献的分析确立了中心思想,进而展开三条路径的探究。最终在研究过程中围绕研究主题摘录相关文献并讨论分析,提炼设计了问卷调查与访谈的纲要从而为下一步的研究打下了坚实的基础。
The Mayan architecture group consulted a large number of relevant professional literature and media resources. They established the central idea by analyzing all the resources and then designed the outline of the questionnaire and interview, thus laying a solid foundation for the next step of the research.

Chinese Civilization
中华文化博大精深,学生们研究了中国茶文化的深厚历史,还探讨了中国建筑史上的重要里程碑;通过对中国服饰演变的学习,学生们追溯了从华美精致的汉服到现代服装设计的发展历程;在中医领域,他们学习了中医在现代社会的传承与发展。此外,学生们还研究了文化的交流与融合对于饮食的影响。
Chinese culture is broad and profound, the students studied the profound history of Chinese tea culture, discussed the important milestones in the history of Chinese architecture, learned about the evolution of Chinese clothing and traditional Chinese medicine. In addition, the students also studied the impact of cultural exchange and integration on food.

茶文化小组有幸邀请到了高级评茶师兼制茶工程师叶云宾先生来到尚德实验学校分享交流。茶文化小组的成员们深入了解叶先生对茶文化的独到见解以及中国传统茶文化与新兴茶文化的链接。通过这次对话,他们也希望挖掘更多关于茶的故事,感受茶艺背后的深厚文化底蕴,并将这份传统艺术的魅力传播给更多的学生和爱茶人士。
The tea culture group had invited Mr. Ye Yunbin, a senior tea taster and tea manufacturing engineer for sharing and exchange. They gained an in-depth understanding of Mr. Ye's unique insights into tea culture and the connection between traditional and modern tea culture. Through this interview , they also hoped to learn more stories about tea and spread the charm of this traditional art to more students and tea lovers.

Indian Civilization
投身于古印度文明研究的同学们,深入学习了印度河流域文明的起源和社会结构,探讨了各朝代对宗教与哲学的演变;艺术方面,他们了解了印度古典舞蹈、音乐、图腾、珠宝工艺等艺术形式;数学与科学领域,古印度的天文学家和数学家的成就让学生们着迷,此外,学生们还探索了古印度人的服饰与饮食。
The students deeply learned about the origins and social structure of the Indus Valley civilization and discussed the evolution of religion and philosophy across various dynasties. They also explored various art forms such as Indian classical dance, music, totems, and jewelry craftsmanship. In the fields of mathematics and science, the achievements of ancient Indian astronomers and mathematicians fascinated the students. Additionally, the students explored the clothing and cuisine of the ancient Indians.

The ancient Indian civilization group conducted research by collecting first-hand information through survey questionnaires. Through the questionnaires, they not only understood the public's level of awareness of this civilization but also helped them identify interest points and information gaps regarding the development process of ancient India, aiming to stimulate the public's curiosity and desire to explore the civilization of ancient India.

Ancient Egyptian Civilization
古埃及文明是人类文明的摇篮之一,学生们研究了这个古老文明的政治结构,探讨了古埃及辉煌灿烂的文化以及对世界文化的影响。在艺术方面,学生们研究了雕像、壁画和珠宝工艺等多种艺术形式;建筑学上,金字塔和狮身人面像等壮观遗迹激起了学生们的好奇心;在科学领域,古埃及人的辉煌成就让学生们惊叹不已!
The students studied the political structure of ancient Egyptian civilization and explored the brilliant culture. In terms of art, they studied statues, murals, and jewelry craftsmanship; spectacular relics like the pyramids and the Sphinx aroused the students' curiosity; in the field of science, the magnificent achievements of the ancient Egyptians left the students in awe!

古埃及文化小组前往“遇见古埃及—永恒的木乃伊之谜”展馆,学生们直观地了解古埃及文明的历史发展,以及不同历史时期的生活方式和丧葬习俗。展馆中所陈列的棺椁的装饰、木乃伊的包装布等物件,更是提升了学生们的艺术鉴赏能力。同时,学生们学习了展品的来源及背景,提升了思考技能、研究技能以及批判性思维。
The ancient Egyptian culture group visited the "The Eternal Mystery of Mummies" exhibition hall, where they intuitively learned about the historical development of ancient Egyptian civilization, as well as the lifestyle and funerary customs of different historical periods. At the same time, they learned about the origins and backgrounds of the exhibits, improving their thinking skills, research skills, and critical thinking.

古希腊和罗马文明的学生又有哪些探究发现呢?他们研究了古罗马的建筑和文学艺术杰作,还探索了古罗马法律的基础;在古希腊神话方面,学生们被迷人的神祇故事和英雄传说所吸引,古希腊哲学的探讨让学生们思考了苏格拉底、柏拉图和亚里士多德等人的思想,以及它们如何影响了西方哲学的发展。
The students of ancient Greek and Roman civilizations studied the architectural and literary masterpieces of ancient Rome, and also explored the foundations of ancient Roman law; in terms of ancient Greek mythology, the students were attracted by the fascinating stories of gods and heroes.

学习方法
古希腊哲学小组运用了思考技能和研究技能展开了三条探究路径,他们查阅了关于古希腊哲学家,思想家的主要思想的有关书籍、论文、网页等,还前往上海复旦大学采访哲学系王纬教授,了解古希腊哲学的思想对当今社会的影响和作用,交流技能和社交技能得到充分发展。又通过问卷调查获取当代社会对古希腊哲学的需求和观点等相关的资料。随后还展开了以哲学为依托,设计希腊旅行路线图的行动。
The ancient Greek philosophy group consulted various media resources about the main ideas of ancient Greek philosophers and thinkers. They also visited Professor Wang Wei from the Philosophy Department in Shanghai Fudan University to understand the impact and role of ancient Greek philosophy on today's society. Additionally, they conducted surveys to gather data on contemporary society's needs and views regarding ancient Greek philosophy. Subsequently, they undertook an action based on philosophy, designing a map for a travel route through Greece.

Arab Civilization
阿拉伯文明令孩子们着迷!在建筑艺术方面,学生们研究了阿拉伯建筑的特征与演变;科技领域里,他们了解了阿拉伯科技对世界文明的发展产生影响;此外,学生们还探讨了伊斯兰教的起源、教义和社会影响,以及感受了阿拉伯语言文学的丰富世界。
The Arab civilization fascinated the children! The students studied the characteristics and evolution of Arab architecture; understood the impact of Arab science and technology on the development of world civilization; additionally, they also explored the origins, doctrines, and social impact of Islam, as well as experiencing the rich world of Arab language and literature.

阿拉伯建筑艺术小组结合课题研究成果,融合阿拉伯与中国建筑艺术特点,为2030年阿拉伯利雅得世博会设计中国馆。他们以发放问卷的方式,获取了专业人士以及大众对4套候选方案认可程度的信息。最终,选择了闽派土楼配上中阿结合的书法纹样方案。他们将会把方案提交给2030阿拉伯利雅得世博会中国组委会,期待组委会采纳同学们的方案或给予他们一些设计的灵感!
The Arab Architecture Art Group, combining the results of their research projects and integrating the characteristics of Arab and Chinese architectural arts, designed the China Pavilion for the 2030 Riyadh World Expo. They used questionnaires to gather information on the level of approval from professionals and the public for four candidate schemes. In the end, they chose the scheme of Min-style Tulou combined with calligraphic patterns that blend Arab and Chinese elements. They will submit the scheme to the China Organizing Committee of the 2030 Riyadh World Expo, hoping that the committee will adopt their scheme or provide them with some design inspiration!
毕业成果展不仅是对学生们十周探究学习的总结,也是向老师们、同学们、和家人们展示他们如何将知识转化为行动的机会。通过这次成果展,学生们提升了自己的各项技能和跨文化交流能力,希望他们成为自信、充满好奇心和责任感的终身学习者!
The graduation exhibition is not only a summary of the students' ten-week inquiry learning but also an opportunity to show teachers, classmates, and family members how they transform knowledge into action. Through this exhibition, the students enhanced their various skills and cross-cultural communication abilities, hoping they will become confident, curious, and responsible lifelong learners!
