钟新意，1979年出生于景德镇，深受陶院教授、钟莲生教授指点身教，毕业于景德镇陶瓷学院。国家一级美术师，江西省高级工艺美术师，景德镇市高级工艺美术师，江西陶瓷艺术联合会会员，非遗传承人，CCTV华夏之声特邀艺术家，品牌影响力艺术名家。
作品质朴高雅，尤擅画山水，花鸟、走兽、人物，先后受聘于中国画画研究院高级美术师，在充分发扬民间陶瓷艺术特色的基调上，采用精致细腻的工笔手法，独创堆雕结合，凹凸质感，淋漓尽致，使作品色彩既古朴又艳丽，气韵流暢，富有质感，作品采用中西结合堆雕手法，使作品更加真实有手感，有种触手可得的感觉，色彩清晰饱满真实，让人眼目一新。
2014年作品《嗷嗷待哺》获得首届中国“唐英杯"陶瓷艺术百花奖；2016年景德镇市"唐英杯"百花奖；2016年中国商报，获得中国收藏2016十大艺术陶瓷名品部分入围作品；2017年中国艺术人物杰出金奖。多年来倍受海内外收藏家青睐，部分优秀作品入选我国外交出访礼品瓷。
