在当前全球生物医药与健康工程领域发展日新月异的背景下，技术革新与产业融合已成为推动行业进步的关键力量。随着科技的飞速进步，生物医药与健康工程领域不断涌现出新技术、新方法和新应用，对全球健康事业产生了深远影响。

由清华大学深圳国际研究生院主办，生物医药与健康工程研究院承办的“2024年健康工程国际前沿科技论坛暨生物医药与健康工程研究院（iBHE）成立五周年纪念庆典”于2024年7月12-15日在清华大学深圳国际研究生院国际一期大楼举办。

“2024年健康工程国际前沿科技论坛”是学术交流的盛会，亦是生物医药与健康工程研究院成立五周年庆典。会议邀请国内外生物医药与健康工程领域的专家学者、科研机构及企业代表，分享最新前沿研究成果，探讨行业最新发展趋势，推动生物医药与健康工程领域的学术交流和产业合作，共同促进全球健康事业的繁荣发展。

In the context of the rapidly evolving biomedical and health engineering fields, technological innovation and industrial integration not only have become key drivers for commercial development, but also possess the potential to exert profound impacts on human health.

The 2024 International Forum on Advanced Health Engineering, hosted by Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School and organized by the Institute of Biopharmaceutical and Health Engineering, is scheduled to take place from July 12th to July 15th 2024, at the International Phase 1 building of the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School.

The forum will promote interdisciplinary and academia-industry exchange and collaboration, advancing the development of health engineering. The forum also serves as a special commemorative event for the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute of Biopharmaceutical and Health Engineering (iBHE).

The representatives of various academic research institutes and commercial enterprises, both domestic and international, will present the latest research findings and discuss the current commercial trends related to the field of biomedical and health engineering. It is anticipated that the forum will foster the further development of the application of biomedical engineering to enhance human health.

学科简介Introduction of iBHE

清华大学深圳国际研究生院（Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School， 简称SIGS）是在国家深化高等教育改革和推进粤港澳大湾区建设的时代背景下，由清华大学与深圳市合作共建的公立研究生教育机构。

生物医药与健康工程研究院（Institute of Biopharmaceutical and Health Engineering，简称iBHE）是SIGS优先布局的学科领域之一。iBHE始终坚持前沿导向、需求牵引、化工学科支撑、多学科交叉，开展一流学术研究，培养高水平学术、创新创业和管理型领军人才，加速化工学科“一基两翼”和一流学科建设步伐，服务人类健康。

面向国际健康学科前沿，针对我国建设“健康中国”和深圳生命健康产业的现实需求，结合清华大学化工学科发展整体规划，iBHE着力建设健康工程、疫苗工程、制药工程、细胞工程四个学科方向。突出工程科学支撑和学科交叉融合特色，打通应用转化渠道，创建基于工程科学支撑、多学科融合的生物医药与健康工程新领域。围绕大健康的重大需求，融合医药工程、生物工程、生物医学、化学工程、过程控制、材料工程、人工智能等先进学科集群进行重点布局和建设，发展粤港澳大湾区生命健康领域的产学研合作网络。

The Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS), established in the spirit of further national higher education reform and the integration of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, is a publically funded graduate educational institution jointly administered by Tsinghua University and the Shenzhen Municipal Government. The Institute of Biopharmaceutical and Health Engineering (iBHE) is one of the prioritized disciplinary areas at Tsinghua SIGS.

iBHE adheres to the principles of future oriented and demand-driven research based on interdisciplinary collaboration, with the aim to produce truly innovative science and to cultivate high-level academic, entrepreneurial, and managerial talents.Hence, iBHE is focused on addressing the pragmatic needs of the Greater Bay biomedical industry cluster and of building a “Healthy China”. In conjunction with the overall development plan of Chemical Engineering within Tsinghua University, iBHE is committed to fostering the development of four interdisciplinary foci which encompass health-, vaccine-, pharmaceutical- and cell-engineering. IBHE intends to bridge the “gap” between innovative technologies and transformation to commercial and/or clinical application. Focused on unmet needs in health and disease, iBHE integrates advanced disciplinary clusters such as biomedical science and engineering, chemical engineering, material science, process control and artificial intelligence, developing a collaborative network of academia, industry and government in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

期刊简介Journal Introduction

会议期间，iBHE会隆重推出全球首个专注于多学科交叉融合的健康工程领域学术英文期刊《Health Engineering》。本期刊旨在为读者揭示与健康和疾病紧密相连的工程学前沿科研与先进技术进展，专注于发表以工程视角为主导的科学、技术、器件装备以及创新方法论的突破性研究。我们的目标是构建一个多学科领域专家（包括化工、化学、生物、医学、材料、药学、物理学、食品）的交流核心平台，以促进健康工程学科的高质量快速发展和国际深度交流。

During the forum, iBHE will proudly launch the world's first academic journal in English focused on multidisciplinary integration in the field of health engineering, titled "Health Engineering." This journal aims to present readers with cutting-edge research and advanced technological advancements in engineering that are closely linked to health and disease. It focuses on publishing breakthrough studies from an engineering perspective, including scientific research, technological advancements, device development, and innovative methodologies. Our goal is to create a central platform for communication among experts from various disciplines (including chemical engineering, chemistry, biology, medicine, materials science, pharmacy, physics, and food science) to promote the high-quality, rapid development of the health engineering discipline and facilitate deep international exchanges.
