上海协和国际外籍人员子女学校（Concordia）创建于1998年，是由中国教育部和上海市教委批准办学的外籍人员子女学校，获得美国西部院校协会WASC全面认证，为在沪的3至18岁外籍学生提供高水准的美式课程教育。
学校教学设施先进，旨在为学生提供全人教育的成长环境，并充分考虑各学段学生的发展需求。除针对不同教学目的而设计的教室和学习空间，还有图书馆、合唱和乐队排练室、艺术工作室、剧院等，教育教学设施一应俱全。

在学术的璀璨星河，Concordia学子们绽放着属于他们的光彩！他们不仅理论知识扎实，还屡屡在国际舞台上展现非凡的实力与才华，参与VEX机器人大赛、世界学者杯 (World Scholar’s Cup)、美国数学竞赛 (AMC)、美国科学测评 (National Science League) 、物理碗 (PhysicsBowl)、英特尔国际科学与工程大奖赛（ISEF）等国际竞赛。这一学年，他们在数学的赛场上一路过关斩将，赢得了令人瞩目的荣耀。真心为他们感到骄傲！

美国数学竞赛 AMC
同学们从小学一路到高中，不仅积极参加美国数学竞赛（AMC），更是战果累累，带着满满的荣誉归来！
特别要为William L.和Ziming T.这两位五年级小学生送上热烈的掌声——他们在AMC 8比赛中拿下了“全球荣誉奖”（通常情况下，6-8年级学生是AMC 8参赛的主力）！

此外，今年Concordia一共有16名Concordia学子冲进AMC 12全国排名前5%、AMC 10全国排名前2.5%，晋级更具挑战性的美国数学邀请赛（AIME）。在AIME这场3小时、15题的烧脑大战中，高中生 Jerry Y.、Maxwell W. 和 Cathy T. 取得了出色的高分成绩。

斯坦福大学数学夏令营 SUMaC
Cathy的数学挑战之旅还没有结束——继美国数学邀请赛之后，她摘得斯坦福大学数学夏令营（SUMaC，被誉为“美国三大数学营”之一）的录取通知，这是她连续第二年被录取了！
对Cathy来说，SUMaC不仅是一次深入探索数学奥秘的旅程，更是一个丰富个人和学术生活的宝贵机会。

袋鼠数学竞赛 Math Kangaroo
在今年的袋鼠数学竞赛中，Concordia 1-6年级的年轻“数学家们”大显身手，斩获了2枚全国超级金奖、8枚全国金奖、7枚全国银奖、8枚全国铜奖和10枚数学技能奖！
成绩单上的数字固然令人骄傲，但更为欣喜的是同学们的个人成长和收获。

When it comes to academics, our students are the real headliners! They’re not just hitting the books; they’re hitting the global stage in competitions like VEX Robotics, the World Scholar’s Cup, the American Mathematics Competitions, the National Science League, the PhysicsBowl, and the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), to name a few. This school year, our students have been grabbing victory in the math arena, and we are proud to celebrate their achievements!

美国数学竞赛 AMC
During the 2023-24 school year, our students from elementary to high school took on the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC), bringing home a trove of achievements!
A round of applause for our 5th graders, William L. and Ziming T., who soared to victory by earning a spot on the AMC 8 Achievement Roll, an honor typically claimed by 6th to 8th-grade participants.

But that’s not all! Landing in the top 5% on the AMC 12 and top 2.5% on the AMC 10, a total of 16 Concordia students qualified for a more challenging test, the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME). In this 15-question, 3-hour examination, high school students Jerry Y., Maxwell W. and Cathy T. achieved outstanding scores that have us all beaming with pride.
It’s easy to see that, when speaking about the competition, these students truly know their stuff! Not only that, but they have come away from the experience with a drive to take their already brilliant math skills to a new level.
“I found the concepts between math competitions and AP Calculus BC very connected. For example, I noticed that I may apply derivatives to find the smallest area possible in some AIME questions, using Calculus and Algebra, which can be more step-efficient than just plain calculations.”

斯坦福大学数学夏令营 SUMaC
What’s more, Cathy’s stellar math journey continues with SUMaC acceptance! For the 2nd year in a row, apart from qualifying for AIME, Cathy was admitted by the highly selective Stanford University Mathematics Camp (SUMaC). For Cathy, attending SUMaC is a chance to delve into the depths of mathematics in a way that’s as enriching personally as it is academically.

袋鼠数学竞赛 Math Kangaroo
Adding to our celebration, grades 1-6 students leaped to victory in the 2024 Math Kangaroo, securing an impressive haul of accolades that has the whole school cheering: 2 National Top Gold, 8 National Gold, 7 National Silver, 8 National Bronze, and 10 National Proficiency Awards.
But the numbers only tell part of the story. Hear what the National Top Gold medalists say about their experiences:
