圆满结束继续前行：SCAPE2024年会暨十年庆典|十年庆典|讲座

美国华人执业医师协会（SCAPE）2024年会暨十周年庆典在北加州硅谷圆满落幕。本次会议高朋满座，盛况空前，吸引了近600位参与者，其中包括约350名来自全美各地的终身会员医生。来自加拿大、澳大利亚和英国的嘉宾们、会员家庭成员、支持者和赞助商也欢聚一堂，共襄盛典。

7月13日早晨，阳光明媚，会议在美丽的斯坦福大学校园拉开帷幕。现任会长程丽蓉医生和创会会长钱湘医生致开幕词，热烈欢迎参会者。三位来自不同领域的风云人物进行了主题演讲，分享了他们的深刻的见解和展望。Zoom视频通信公司的创始人兼首席执行官袁征分享了他的创业经验并谈到了年轻一代的自我发展。1997年诺贝尔经济学奖得主Myron S. Scholes博士做了题为“不确定性对创造力和学习的影响”的讲座。美国国家科学院院士、美国艺术与科学院院士，著名物理学家沈志勋博士的演讲题目为 “魔石的到来”。下午的继续医学教育（CME）讲座内容丰富且有趣，之后的艺术演出更是高潮迭起，精彩纷呈。

7月14日，在医学论坛上，各位讲者分享了癌症治疗、心脏疾病、神经疾病、疼痛及慢性病管理等方面的最新进展。下一代的活动同样丰富多彩，包括参观斯坦福校园以及多个关于职业选择、领导力和金融启蒙的讲座和讨论。

在十年庆典晚宴上，一段回顾SCAPE十年历程的影片令人心潮澎湃，感慨万千。五任会长回顾了协会一路走来的风风雨雨，并展望了更加美好的未来。新朋旧友共聚一堂，举杯言欢，场面热闹而温馨。

美好的时光总是飞逝，相聚总是短暂。相信在大家的共同努力下，SCAPE会更加蓬勃发展，明天会更好。期待大家携手同行，共筑未来，期待明年在奥兰多相聚。

作品简介：

本书是一部纪实性文集，共收录了39篇美国华人医生写的关于美国新冠疫情和抗疫情况的文章。这些文章生动而详实地记录了在美国新冠大流行期间，华人医生们奋战在临床抗疫第一线和参与社区防疫等的亲身经历及事迹，也反映了他们当时的真实生活状况和内心感受，并反思和总结了美国抗疫的经验教训。书中的内容也是华人医生们在美国长期工作生活的缩影。

Introduction:

This book is a documentary collection of 39 articles written by Chinese-American doctors in the United States about the COVID-19 pandemic and their efforts to fight it. These articles vividly and comprehensively record the firsthand experiences and deeds of Chinese-American doctors on the front lines of clinical care and community prevention during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. They also reflect on their real-life situations and inner feelings at that time, as well as reflect on and summarize the lessons learned from the American pandemic response. The book's content is also a microcosm of Chinese-American doctors' long-term work and life in the United States.
