编者按

上海协和国际外籍人员子女学校（Concordia）创建于1998年，是由中国教育部和上海市教委批准办学的外籍人员子女学校，获得美国西部院校协会WASC全面认证，为在沪的3至18岁外籍学生提供高水准的美式课程教育。

学校教学设施先进，旨在为学生提供全人教育的成长环境，并充分考虑各学段学生的发展需求。除针对不同教学目的而设计的教室和学习空间，还有图书馆、合唱和乐队排练室、艺术工作室、剧院等，教育教学设施一应俱全。

今年，在Concordia的艺术表演活动中，不少百老汇戏剧在舞台上焕发活力。一起来看看初中部的音乐剧大戏《苏斯狂想曲》吧！

今年，Concordia的艺术表演活动精彩纷呈，将不少百老汇戏剧搬到了校园舞台。在学期末，初中部的音乐剧大戏《苏斯狂想曲》给同学和家长们带来了无限的美好回忆，也看到了Concordia少年的艺术才华和想象力。

在舞台上，小演员们变身为性格各异的不同角色：奇幻的诺尔丛林中，有戴着神奇帽子的猫Cat in the Hat、善良的大象Horton、顽皮的小男孩Jojo、自卑的Gertrude、自恋的Mayzie、傲慢的袋鼠Sour Kangaroo……

初中部音乐剧

每一位小演员跟随着剧中角色不断成长，在剧中找到解决成长困惑的答案，并最终懂得：服务他人和坚持自我才是我们最终的价值所在。

在表演中，他们展现出了丰富的创造力和娱乐精神。而在聚光灯幕后，从道具制作到舞台设计，大都来自于艺术部的老师们和高中学生，展现了他们强大的舞台想象力！

同学和老师们用天马行空的想象力和精彩的演出，将大家带入了苏斯博士奇妙的异想世界，并告诉大家：一切皆有可能 Anything is possible！

This year, the performing arts activities brought a spectacular array of costumes, music, and unforgettable theatrical moments to our very own Rittmann Theatre stage. The final performance of 2023-24 was yet another showstopper: the Middle School Musical “Seussical Jr.,” showcasing the artistic flair and boundless imagination and talent of Concordia’s young stars.

On stage, the young actors transformed into vibrant characters in the Jungle of Nool: The Cat in the Hat, the kind-hearted Horton, the playful Jojo, the anxious and shy Gertrude, the self-obsessed Mayzie, and the hard-hearted Sour Kangaroo, just to name a few.

Middle School Musical

As young troupe lost themselves in their respective roles, they discovered the key to navigating the puzzles of growing up: serving others and staying true to oneself are ultimately the most valuable.

Their performances were creative and undeniably entertaining. And behind the scenes, it was our talented fine arts faculty and high school creatives who crafted the props and set designs, weaving backstage magic!

A big round of applause to all the middle school cast and crew, as well as our director Mr. Daniel Hwang, for transporting the audience to the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss, reminding us all: “Anything is possible!”
