每届奥运会都会有运动员刷新人类极限，但巴黎奥运会显得格外明显。

相比之下，巴黎奥运会打破世界纪录的方式并非单点突破，而是群体提升。男子10000米长跑比赛，13名运动员打破贝克勒在2008年创造的27分01秒17的奥运纪录，乌干达选手切普特盖以26分43秒14的成绩夺冠。

女子400米决赛则是历史上最快的一届，9名运动员全部跑进50秒以内。

At the Paris Olympics, records were broken through group improvement rather than individual breakthroughs. In the men's 10,000 meters, 13 athletes broke the 2008 Olympic record, with Joshua Cheptegei winning in 26:43.14. The women's 400 meters final saw all nine athletes finish under 50 seconds.

The change in track color isn't unusual; the 2016 Rio Olympics first used deep blue instead of red. This year's Olympics saw three world records and seven Olympic records on the track. Behind the creation of a series of records, the track beneath the athlete's feet played a significant role.

跑道的秘密

巴黎奥运会田径项目负责人、法国退役十项全能运动员阿兰·布隆代尔针对紫色跑道的色彩影响就曾表示：

这种设计不仅能使得跑道在电视转播时和观众席形成强烈的对比，突出运动员的形象，还有助于运动员更好发挥，这是因为颜色对运动员的状态有着显著的影响。

据了解，从色调上来看，紫色属于冷色调，能带来缩减感，从而给人一种冷静、沉稳的感觉。而且紫色不同于同属于冷色调的蓝色，它还融合了一些属于暖色调的、能够给人带来前进感和扩大感的红色。

也就是说，紫色结合了红色的热情和蓝色的冷静，使其既具有一定的镇静性又不会过于萎靡，从而使得情绪更加平衡，镇定又不乏干劲。

Purple is considered a cool color, which can create a sense of calm and stability. Unlike blue, another cool color, purple also incorporates elements of red, a warm color that adds a sense of energy and expansion. This combination of red's warmth and blue's coolness gives purple a balanced effect—it calms without being too subdued, helping to maintain a steady yet motivated emotional state.

除却颜值高、能辅助稳定心理状态等优势，紫色跑道本身的科技含量也很高。

据该跑道的设计公司介绍，紫色跑道有两层结构：与运动鞋进行接触并且能够排水的上层；较为柔软、带有特定形状的气孔，还可以压缩的下层。

其中，下层的气孔不仅可以积累运动员踩下时的弹性势能，还能在运动员起跑或跳跃时将弹性势能再返还给他们，减少运动员关节的负担，防止受伤。

The careful selection of materials for the upper layer and the design of the lower air cells' shape allow for an optimal balance: accumulating enough energy to prevent injuries and reduce strain on athletes' joints while also returning energy in a way that enhances athletic performance for optimal execution.

这一结构是该公司耗时两年时间，并在米兰大学对跑道材料进行数字建模后得到的方案。

杜普兰蒂斯脚下的紫色跑道科技含量十足

“我们在东京奥运会的跑道中注意到，运动员脚踩踏的位置不同，会得到不同的结果，我们修改了跑道材料的形状，以提供更均匀的响应并增加了跑道的下沉面积。”跑道设计公司相关负责人解释道，“这使得跑道变得更好，因为他们不会感觉到任何差异，整个跑道上的弹性响应完全相同，从而保证运动员的节奏相同。”

为了实现这一效果，巴黎奥运会的跑道并不便宜。据该负责人介绍，巴黎奥运会的跑道定价为200万至300万，顶部的合成材料只有14毫米的厚度，跑道寿命则在15年左右，之后需要更换或重新铺设。
