每年的六月一日，敦煌市会联合举办一次大型滑沙节。

Every year on June 1st, Dunhuang city jointly hosts a grand Sand Sliding Festival.

滑沙是在鸣沙山开发的一种新玩法，每年上百名滑沙爱好者一齐从山顶顺坡滑下，整个山体发出雷鸣般的轰鸣声，五公里外的城内都能清晰地听到这一声音。

Sand sliding is a new form of entertainment developed in the Mingsha Mountain area. Hundreds of sand sliding enthusiasts gather each year to glide down the slopes from the mountaintop. The entire mountain emits a thunderous roar, which can be heard clearly in the city five kilometers away.

一起伴随着这震耳欲聋的声音加入其中，坐上特制的充气垫或木滑板体验像飞鹰一样从沙顶俯冲而下的感觉吧！

Accompanying this deafening sound, participants experience the sensation of plunging from the mountaintop, as they ride specially designed inflatable cushions or wooden sleds, almost like flying eagles!
