北京京西学校（简称WAB）创办于1994年，是北京的20几所外籍人员子女学校当中设立较早的学校之一。该校坐落于北京朝阳区，一所“白求恩式”办学初心的国际学校正在培育着面向未来的国际化人才。作为国内办学历史最悠久的国际学校之一，北京京西学校诞生于一位外籍“红旗下长大的教育家”——柯马凯对九十年代中国外籍人员子女学校教育缺口的关注。30多年以来，京西在代代教育者的传承中发展，坚持贯彻IB教育核心理念，关注全球与社会的变化，建设以学生为中心的学习社区。

On Monday, May 27, WAB's Class of 2024 became WAB graduates at two beautiful ceremonies, one in the High School and the other at the historic Confucius Temple.

Students, parents, and staff came together to celebrate the achievements of our students and their exciting paths ahead.

Confucius Scholar Feifei shared her experiences at the Graduation Ceremony. Reflecting on her journey, she expressed her initial uncertainty when she first arrived in China 11 years ago. Now, as she prepares to head to the U.S. for college, Feifei acknowledged that many graduates are embarking on a similar path, venturing into unfamiliar territory to begin the next chapter of their lives. However, she said, "Be a WAB student, it's all about finding the courage to face our fear." Feifei also highlighted the support and moments of joy she experienced within the WAB community, stating, "This is what the WAB community does – we empower each other."

WAB's High School Principal Jaime Pustis expressed, "Congratulations, Grade 12 graduates! As you reflect on your journey at WAB, all of us know that you are ready for the journey that lies ahead of you. Your unwavering determination and engagement have propelled you forward, allowing you to take ownership of your education at each step and create your own path. As you step into the future, may your dreams be boundless, your aspirations fearless, and your actions purposeful."

Since November last year, WAB students have been receiving early offers from universities worldwide. The list has continued to expand, with more offers from renowned and specialized university programs coming in for the Class of 2024 at WAB.

Dr. Marta Medved Krajnovic, WAB's Head of School, also extended her wishes, "Dear graduates of the Class of 2024, we have celebrated your academic achievements and the incredible growth you have experienced throughout your time at WAB. Your learning journey has been a testament to student agency, as you explored your interests, pursued your passion, and took ownership of your work. As you embark on new life and learning adventures, may you always carry the spirit of curiosity, resilience, and creativity that defined your years at WAB. May your future be filled with purpose, joy, and endless opportunities to make a positive impact."
