September 4, the 2024 Summit Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Press Center held a briefing to introduce the cooperation with Africa of Zhejiang Province and Jinhua City and answer reporters' questions. According to the briefing, Zhejiang has established 31 pairs of friendly city relations with African countries (regions) at present, the trade volume of Zhejiang Province with Africa reached 53.9 billion U.S. dollars in 2023, and Zhejiang's recorded investment in Africa reached $4.6 billion, which all ranked in the forefront of the national provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government).
