From the dimension of "dream making", we can think about how to let guests have a dream life during their time in the store. A good B&B is not a place for 100 guests to come once, but a place for 1 guest to come 100 times. What users want in a homestay is simple: they want a different, wonderful and memorable experience. This experience may come from the unique design style of the homestay, or it may come from the communication between the homestay owner, or those small ideas and details of the surprise. Therefore, the pursuit of standard SOP is not the real needs of users, they value more is the unique experience and memories that homestas can bring.

一、寺下山隐

RESIDENTIAL DESIGN

项目位于重庆市沙坪坝区曾家镇的虎峰山村，一个充满历史韵味的地方。它紧邻着一条百年步道，被茂密的林海环绕，仿佛与世隔绝。沿着这条古老的步道，感受岁月的痕迹和自然的呼吸。到达山顶时，会发现一片被荒草覆盖的遗址，那是北宋乾德年间建立的虎峰寺（川主庙）。曾经的辉煌只剩下几座残破的佛像，它们静静地伫立在草丛中，见证着时光的流转和历史的变迁，项目命名为“寺下山隐”。这个名字既体现了项目的地理位置，又寓意着我们希望通过这个项目，让更多的人能够找到一片宁静和平和之地，远离城市的喧嚣，回归自然和内心的平静。

The project is located in Hufeng Mountain Village, Zengjia Town, Shapingba District, Chongqing, a place full of historical charm. It is next to a century-old footpath, surrounded by dense forests, as if isolated from the world. Along this ancient trail, feel the traces of time and the breath of nature. When you reach the top of the mountain, you will find a site covered with grass. It is the Hufeng Temple (Sichuan Main Temple) built during the reign of Gande in the Northern Song Dynasty. Once brilliant only a few broken Buddha statues, they stand quietly in the grass, witnessing the flow of time and historical changes, the project named "Temple mountain hidden". The name reflects both the location of the project and our hope that through this project, more people can find a peaceful place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, return to nature and inner peace.

民宿的设计巧妙地保留了原有的夯土老房围合而成的三合院格局，让人仿佛穿越时空，回到了那个古老的时代。新建筑通过精心控制体量和围合的方式，还原了基址过去的院落空间，让人感受到了历史的厚重和文化的底蕴。新建的部分采用了现代感十足的钢结构和玻璃材料，与传统夯土墙形成了鲜明的对比。建筑面积约800平方米，但出于公益性与开放性的目的，民宿中仅在建筑的二、三层设置了七间客房与一间主人房，其余面积均用作公共空间：入口处的游客接待驿站、底层的非遗展厅（接待厅）与无边水池旁的乡间书屋。这一功能组织上的考虑，既创新了民宿的功能组合模式，又赋予了其独特的社会价值和人文关怀，使之成为来往游人在步道途中难忘的记忆点。

The design of the hostel cleverly retains the original rammed earth old houses surrounded by the three-heyuan pattern, making people seem to travel through time and space, back to that ancient era. The new building restores the former courtyard space of the base site through careful control of volume and enclosure, making people feel the thick history and cultural heritage. The new section features a modern steel structure and glass, in contrast to the traditional rammed earth walls. The building area is about 800 square meters, but for the purpose of public welfare and openness, only seven guest rooms and one master room are set up in the second and third floors of the building, and the rest of the area is used as public space: the visitor reception station at the entrance, the intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall (reception hall) at the bottom floor and the country library next to the infinity pool. This functional organizational consideration not only innovates the functional combination mode of homestays, but also gives it unique social value and humanistic care, making it an unforgettable memory point for visitors on the way to and from the trail.

漫步于三合院之间，行走并不断深入建筑的过程中，从入口的老夯土墙，到主体建筑的素混凝土，再到角落出挑的钢结构楼梯，无不隐藏着建造材料从传统向现代、从旧到新逐渐过渡的巧妙逻辑，能够感受到设计师对这片场地新旧关系的回应与阐释，这片夯土老房在此刻仿佛得到了“重生”。

From the old rammed earth wall at the entrance, to the plain concrete of the main building, to the steel stairs protruding from the corner, all conceal the clever logic of the gradual transition of construction materials from traditional to modern and from old to new, and you can feel the designer's response and interpretation of the relationship between the old and the new in this site. This piece of rammed earth old house seems to have been "reborn" at this moment.

二、室内美学

INTERIOR AESTHETICS

每间客房都像是一个独立的世界，有着各自的故事和灵魂。客房的风格上，也带着几分“野”的气息。虽然只有七间，但每间房依据不同的主题有不同的定位和装饰风格搭配，有些桌椅摆设甚至来自于业主在附近乡村“拾荒”所得，经过随性自然的布置，更添几分“野”味。房间均朝东，落地玻璃让透过山林的晨光肆意挥洒入屋，同时保证了良好的景观视野。室内的秋千，屋顶花园，可望到窗外虎峰山顶的泡池，树影斑驳白墙中的一米阳台……这些细微的设计赋予了每间客房独一无二的个性与风格，但又有一个共同点——拙朴素雅。

Each room is like a separate world, with its own story and soul. The style of the room, but also with a bit of "wild" atmosphere. Although there are only seven rooms, each room has a different positioning and decorative style according to different themes, and some tables and chairs even come from the owners' "scavenging" in the nearby countryside, and the casual natural arrangement adds a bit of "wild" flavor. The rooms face east, and the floor-to-ceiling glass allows the morning light through the forest to flood into the house, while ensuring a good view of the landscape. The indoor swing, the roof garden, the bubble pool at the top of the Tiger peak outside the window, the one-meter balcony in the white wall with the shadow of trees... These subtle designs give each room a unique personality and style, but have one thing in common - simplicity.
