据外媒报道，42岁的英国凯特王妃通过视频宣布，她已完成长达6个月的癌症预防性化疗疗程，计划在未来几个月内逐步回归公众生活，并预计于11月出席伦敦纪念仪式。

Catherine, the Princess of Wales, says she's finished her course ofchemotherapyand is looking forward to returning to work as she enters a "new phase of recovery" from cancer.

凯特王妃表示她已经完成了化疗疗程，并期待着重返工作岗位，开启癌症康复的“新阶段”。

Princess Kate delivered the news in a personal statement published byKensington Palaceon Monday, less than six months after she announced her cancer diagnosis.

凯特王妃在周一通过肯辛顿宫发布的个人声明中传达了这一消息。这距离她宣布自己被诊断出患有癌症还不到六个月。

"As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment. The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in aninstantand we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown," Kate said.

While she's finished her chemotherapy, Kate said she would remain focused on making a fullrecoveryand only be returning to a "light program" of public events and engagements.

"The cancer journey is complex, scary andunpredictablefor everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything," Kate said.

"This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved. Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes. I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can. Despite all that has gone before, I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life."

Kate said she appreciated the support she'd had from both the public and her family during her treatment. The royal family has never said what type of cancer the princess wasdiagnosedwith.

"William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time.
