“Are you going to the dance, Sarah?” Emma asked, raising her eyebrows.

As she walked into the gym, which had been transformed into a sparkling dance floor with lights and decorations, she felt a little out of place at first.

But as soon as she saw Emma, Jake, and the rest of their group, her nerves disappeared. They spent the night dancing, laughing, and enjoying the music. Sarah even found herself relaxing and having a good time, despite her initial hesitation.

As the night drew to a close, Sarah and Jake stepped outside to get some fresh air. The cool breeze felt refreshing after the heat of the gym, and they stood in comfortable silence for a moment.

“I’m glad you came tonight,” Jake said, breaking the silence. “You’re a lot of fun, you know that?”

Sarah smiled, feeling a warm flush spread across her cheeks. “Thanks, Jake. I’m really glad I came too.”
