At the Global Chinese Debate Championship this year, the AISL Harrow debate team once again advanced through rounds of challenge to win multiple awards as groups and as individuals.

全球500+学子层层选拔，竞争激烈

110队精英辩手，交流切磋，顶峰相见

Intense Elimination Among 500+ Schools 110 Top Teams Shortlisted for the Ultimate Honour

这一赛事吸引来自大洋洲、美洲、亚洲等地的队伍参赛，全球500多所学校的学子对垒，经过激烈角逐，层层筛选，最终110支来自中国大陆、美国、澳大利亚、泰国、新加坡、马来西亚、中国香港等国家和地区的辩论强队进入总决赛。

The event has attracted teams from all over the world, including Australia, the USA and Asia. After an intense elimination process among more than 500 schools worldwide, the participants were whittled down to 110 teams for the grand finals, hailing from China, the US, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong SAR, etc.

惊艳全场创佳绩

A Showcase of Debate Skills Superb Chinese Literacy, a Portal to Global Horizons

8月在香港举行的总决赛汇聚包括人大附中、清华附中、香港汉基国际学校、杭州娃哈哈双语学校、上海世界外国语学校、深圳前海国王学校等知名学府的辩论强队。单是赛前的跨校区写作对抗赛就有300名学生参与，辩论部分则是全体参赛学生同场角逐。

The grand final, held in Hong Kong in August, saw many prestigious schools compete for the top prize, including the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, Tsinghua University High School, the Chinese International School, Wahaha Bilingual School Hangzhou, Shanghai World Foreign Language Academy, and the King's School Shenzhen International. The preliminary inter-campus writing competition alone attracted 300 students, while all participants took part in the debate section.

本次哈罗辩论队学生，来自各地AISL哈罗礼德学校和哈罗国际学校。平时校内外的思辨与演讲素养积累，外加赛前的写作和辩论训练、纯熟的中文表达和中华文化素养, 让哈罗辩手在台上自信发挥荣誉满载，在大赛中再创辉煌：

The team comprised students from various AISL Harrow LiDe Schools and International Schools. With ample opportunities to practise critical thinking and public speaking both inside and outside of school, pre-tournament writing and debate training, and a solid foundation in Chinese language and culture, our debaters were able to perform confidently on stage, showcase their talents and win multiple awards:
