"China is very safe," said Pablo Manuel Velazquez Perez, an undergraduate student from Cuba studying at Tsinghua University. He shared his perspective on China. Once, he left an item on a table in the school library and was surprised to find it still there a week later.
This year marks his fifth year in China. With the help of friends, his Chinese language skills have continuously improved, and he has gradually adapted to life here. "It has slowly become my second homeland." When asked about his deepest impressions of China, he mentioned that his favorite things about China are its foods, such as braised meat, pig's trotter rice, rice noodle rolls, and marinated raw dishes.
