市初选评比细则
评比形式：朗读高手（约90秒）+ 即兴问答（约90秒）
相关说明：选手从现场抽取一篇短文/片段进行朗读（共十篇正在陆续公布），要求发音清晰准确，语调自然，通过流利有感情地朗读，使所读内容的内涵得到更好的体现。考查重点为语音、语调、理解能力、精神风貌。评委根据朗读情况即兴对朗读内容以及相关话题进行提问，选手应充分理解朗读内容，自信主动的与评委进行沟通。准备时间约180秒。

The Importance of Insects If all the insects on the planet suddenly disappeared, thousands of plants and animals would disappear soon after. Many of Earth’s ecosystems would cease to function, and the great web of life would begin to unravel. Insects are animals and are essential to other animal and plant life. They are a vital link in countless food chains. Despite their small size, these organisms, or living things, have an amazing effect on the earth. Many birds depend on insects for food. Some
baby birds eat their weight in insects daily.
Insects benefit us directly in five important ways.They pollinate plants. They “recycle” dead plants and animals. They kill insect pests. They provide food. They make useful products.
