Lin said that over a recent period of time, China and India have kept close communication through diplomatic and military channels on issues related to the China-India border. The two sides have reached resolutions on relevant matters, which China speaks highly of.

Going forward, China will work with India to implement these resolutions, Lin added.

China and India held the 30th round of the Meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on China-India Border Affairs in New Delhi in July 2024, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry. Both sides agreed to strictly abide by the agreements and protocols already reached and continue to maintain peace and tranquility in the border areas. (By Ma Ziqian/China Youth Daily)
