In the vast landscapes of Africa, there lies a sun-kissed land. Here dwell the diligent and resilient Maasai people. Today, join us as our cameras follow Saska, a local employee at CPP MCPY13 camp, to discover what life is like for him!

在遥远的非洲大地，有一片被阳光亲吻的土地，这里生活着勤劳而又坚强的马赛人。今天，跟随我们的镜头，共同走进管道局 MCPY13营地属地化员工撒斯卡的家，去感受一下他的生活是怎样的！

Saska is one of the few Maasai in the tribe who speaks Swahili. Having worked at Camp 13 for over six months, he has acquired many skills. To facilitate better communication, we have invited translators Amina and Abdu, who act as bridges, drawing our diverse cultures closer, giving us deeper insight into this mysterious tribe.

撒斯卡是马赛部落里为数不多会斯瓦希里语的马赛人。在13号营地工作半年多，他学会了很多技术。为了更好的沟通，我们特意邀请了翻译阿蜜娜和阿卜杜。他们如同“桥梁”，拉近了我们不同文化间的交流，让我们进一步了解这个神秘的部落。

When Saska learned of our visit to his home, his joy was evident. Friends coming from afar bring him an unprecedented sense of warmth. His home is less than 2 kilometers from Camp 13, yet it feels like a meeting point of two worlds. The round houses, crafted from red mud and branches, appear as oval-shaped homes from a distance. Under the shades of trees, Saska's family gathers, radiating a spirit of warmth and harmony.

当得知我们要去他家做客时，撒斯卡显得格外开心，这份来自远方的友谊，让他感觉到前所未有的温暖。他的家距离13号营地还不到2公里，却仿佛是两个世界的交汇点，红泥混合着草木枝条立起来的圈屋，远看像个椭圆形的房子，树下围坐的人们可都是撒斯卡的家人，一个充满温馨与有爱的和谐小家。

He enthusiastically introduces us to his family and relatives, handing out food and candies.Though his little daughter cries at the sight of us strangers, he gently tries to amuse her, filled with fatherly love, hoping she can warm up to us, his friends from China. Saska tells us that in the Maasai tribe, high jumping is an important social activity. It not only symbolizes courage, but is also a way to win favor among ladies. Although we did not win this competition, the athletic talent of the Maasai truly left us in awe.

撒斯卡热情的为我们介绍家人和亲属，分发着食品和糖果。尽管小女儿因见到陌生的我们而哭泣，但满满父爱的他，正想方设法逗着小女儿笑，希望女儿能够接受CPP这些来自中国的友人。撒斯卡告诉我们，在马赛部落，跳高可是一项重要的联谊活动。它不仅是勇气的象征，更是赢得女子青睐的方式。尽管我们未能在这场比赛中胜出，但马赛人的运动天赋，着实让我们惊叹不已。

I must say, the Maasai crafts are simply stunning. These seemingly simple containers represent the culmination of their wisdom and the fences serve as their big wallets. Cattle and sheep are particularly prized as symbols of status in this land. Saska has two wives, each living in separate red clay houses. When I expressed surprise at his polygamy, the translator informed me that his father has seven wives……

不得不说马赛人的手工艺品真的是十分漂亮。这些看似简单的容器，却是他们智慧的结晶而篱笆则是他们的“大钱包"。牛羊作为身份的象征，在这片土地上显得尤为“金贵”。撒斯卡有两个老婆，分别住在两个红土房子内。当我惊讶于他多妻的时候，翻译告诉我他的父亲有7个老婆……

Upon seeing unfamiliar men, Saska's sister appeared shy . Despite our attempts, she remains unwilling to come out and meet us.

撒斯卡的妹妹看到陌生男子很害羞，说什么也不愿意出来见一面。

Before working at our camp, his hope was for his cattle and sheep to breed generation after generation. After he joined our camp and began earning a steady income. With his salary, he continued to buy more sheep and cattle, aiming to increase their numbers and boost his income.Essentially, his life is a continuous cycle of buying and breeding livestock.

在我们营地上班之前，他就是期盼这些牛羊一代又一代的繁殖。来到我们营地，他有了稳定的收入后，继续用工资买羊买牛，为的还是繁殖越多挣钱就越多。可以说他这一生就是永远在不停的买牛买羊。

Saska shared that she is unmarried and is responsible for herding the cattle at home, Since starting work at CPP, Saska’s life has changed dramatically. Not only does he have a stable income but he has also bought more cattle and sheep, leading to more food and crops. He hopes CPP can provide more local jobs in the future, benefiting more Maasai people.

撒斯卡告诉我们，他之前在家里负责放牛。当撒斯卡入职CPP后，他的生活发生了翻天地覆的变化，不仅有了稳定的收入还买了更多的牛羊，换来更多的粮食和庄稼。他希望CPP未来能够给当人地提供更多的就业岗位，让更多的马赛人受益。

In the group photo, everyone shouted for eternal friendship. This profound friendship that transcends cultures will forever be etched in our hearts. As we bid farewell, Saska's younger brother expressed his hope to gain job opportunities from the project.

在合影中，大家齐声喊出友谊永久。这份跨越文化的深厚友谊，将永远铭记在管道人的心中。送别时，撒斯卡的二弟表达了在项目中获得工作机会的愿望。

In this magical land, CPP has not only established its brand but also forged connections between different cultures, acting like a bond between souls and witnessing deep friendships. Let us look forward together, to more beautiful stories blooming in this land in the future.
