付翔毕业于广西艺术学院，学习油画专业，也热爱国画与陶瓷，付翔在大学被选进重点班级培养，也是在这个“特优班”，相遇了同样学画画的爱情伴侣。

Fu Xiang graduated from Guangxi Arts Institute, majoring in oil painting. He also has a passion for traditional Chinese painting and ceramics. During his university years, he was selected to join a key class for special cultivation, and it was in this "elite class" that he met his love partner, who was also studying painting.

付翔的妻子是广西人，之前一直在企业工作，现也全身心地投入瓷艺。两个人就像电影里精心修饰过的才子佳人。

Fu Xiang's wife, who is originally from Guangxi, had been working in a corporate environment before she also devoted herself fully to the art of ceramics. The two of them resemble the talented scholar and beautiful lady portrayed in meticulously crafted films.

90年代，付翔家里是开作坊的，条件比较好。后来家里发生了变故，所赚的钱要拿去还外债。经历了大起大伏。经济来源靠自己，要赚钱的紧迫感强，就没时间画，但他还是想画，并且想画出成绩。

In the 1990s, Fu Xiang's family ran a workshop and their conditions were relatively good. However, later the family experienced some misfortunes and the money they earned had to be used to repay debts. He went through great ups and downs. With his financial resources depending solely on himself, the urgency to earn money was strong, leaving him little time to paint. Yet, he still wanted to paint and achieve results in his artwork.

老天爷是善意的，它在这里关上了门，就会在那里开一扇窗。付翔大学毕业回景德镇的第一个老师是中国陶瓷艺术大师周鹏，彼时师兄熊智华已有了一间工作室，他叫付翔跟着自己一起画。

Fortune is kind in its own way; when it closes a door here, it opens a window there. The first teacher Fu Xiang had after graduating from university and returning to Jingdezhen was Zhou Peng, a master of Chinese ceramic art. At that time, his senior student Xiong Zhihua already had a studio, and he asked Fu Xiang to join him in painting.

熊师兄也介绍些私活给他，起码能帮他解决温饱。慢慢地，手头不那么紧了，付翔也搬到燕来坊来开工作室。熊智华与妻子蔡丹结婚后又拜师刘伟，在师兄的引荐下，付翔也拜到刘老师门下。

Senior Xiong also introduced some freelance work to him, which at least helped him meet his basic needs. Gradually, as his finances improved, Fu Xiang also moved to Yanlaifang to open his own studio. After Senior Xiong Zhihua married his wife Cai Dan, they both became disciples of Liu Wei. With Senior Xiong's introduction, Fu Xiang also became a disciple of Mr.

刘伟和周鹏是景德镇市陶研所的同事，又是邻居，看到这些学瓷艺的好苗子，也鼓励学生们“转艺多师”，不局限于一个老师的指点，多拜师，多学习。

Liu. Liu Wei and Zhou Peng were colleagues at the Jingdezhen Ceramic Research Institute and also neighbors. Seeing these promising students of ceramic art, they encouraged them to "seek guidance from multiple teachers" and not be limited to the teachings of a single teacher, but to seek out more teachers and learn more.

跟刘伟老师学瓷艺，付翔被老师的敬业精神和人格魅力所吸引，老师教导他，学艺术先要学做人，要吃苦耐劳，与人为善，不断提升自己才能走得更远。刘老师也很喜欢这个年轻人身上的温厚，看上去十分清爽。

While learning ceramic art from Mr. Liu Wei, Fu Xiang was attracted by the teacher's professionalism and personal charm. Mr. Liu taught him that learning art begins with learning how to be a good person, to be hardworking and kind to others, and to constantly improve oneself in order to go further. Mr. Liu also greatly admired the warmth and freshness displayed by this young man.

付翔科班学油画，喜欢从三清山、黄山、婺源的自然山水中汲取灵感，创作以釉上山水为主。他的瓷画，从青绿山水到现在概念出新的金碧古雅彩，是很大胆的尝试。他以前画青绿山水，给我的感觉是四个字：“很久以前”。非常的清高沉寂。

With a formal education in oil painting, Fu Xiang likes to draw inspiration from the natural landscapes of Mount Sanqingshan, Mount Huangshan, and Wuyuan, and mainly creates landscapes on glazed ceramics. His ceramic paintings, from the traditional green landscapes to the innovative and elegant golden-and-jade-colored paintings he conceives now, represent a bold attempt. His previous green landscapes gave me the feeling of "a long time ago," very aloof and serene.

经过刘老师在釉色上的指点，他创新、创作，瓷作同人一并变得圆满、温存、亲切。既有古感又有自我。

With Mr. Liu's guidance on glaze colors, Fu Xiang innovated and created, making his ceramic works and himself become complete, warm, and approachable. His works now possess both a sense of antiquity and self-expression.

他的金碧古雅彩系列瓷作，还要感谢一个人，他是收藏家张曙阳先生。他结合市场的反馈一步步地引导付翔大展身手，通过强色与淡色的强对比，展现出一种混合的东西——真的要感谢这些长辈前辈，帮助年轻人更顺利地与这个世界沟通。

For his Jinbi Guya Cai series of ceramic works, Fu Xiang also has to thank a person, the collector Mr. Zhang Shuyang. Based on market feedback, Mr. Zhang guided Fu Xiang step by step to fully display his talents, using strong contrasts between bright and light colors to create a mixed style. Fu Xiang is truly grateful to these elders and predecessors for helping young people communicate more smoothly with the world.

付翔在传统粉彩山水柔和的设色基础上，加入大色块的红，将描金融入绘画，好像作品里加了钻石和金子，华丽异常。又不会和山水的清纯格格不入。

Based on the soft coloration of traditional famille rose landscapes, Fu Xiang introduces large red color blocks and incorporates gold outlining into his paintings, making his works appear exceptionally gorgeous, as if adorned with diamonds and gold. Yet, this does not clash with the purity of the landscapes.

看了他这一系列创作，以暖色调绘青绿山水，例如青山背后幻化出绚烂霞光，这何尝不是他对现在快节奏社会的思考——有大俗就有大雅，俗是雅的衬托。浓郁的色块、满腔的爱、好看的山水，叠加在一起，梦一般的，令人恍惚不已。

Viewing his series of creations, which depict green landscapes with warm tones, such as the magnificent afterglow that emerges behind the green mountains, it is also a reflection of his thoughts on today's fast-paced society—where vulgarity and elegance coexist, and vulgarity serves as a foil for elegance. The rich color blocks, the overflowing love, and the beautiful landscapes are superimposed, creating a dreamlike and dazzling effect.

付翔和其他师兄弟们交流探讨，瓷画要结合新时代的社会现实。社会本就是不断进步的，所以瓷艺也要不断进取。出新才能得到市场的肯定，这也是他创作金碧古雅彩的源动力。

Fu Xiang exchanges ideas with his fellow disciples, believing that ceramic paintings should be integrated with the social realities of the new era. Society is constantly progressing, so ceramic art must also strive for continuous improvement. Only by innovating can one gain recognition in the market, which is also the driving force behind his creation of the Jinbi Guya Cai series.
