弗吉尼亚大学（UVA）张天课题组

课题组简介

张天课题组于2023年8月弗吉尼亚大学医学院生物化学与分子遗传学系（http://tianzhanglab.com）建立。课题组主要研究方向为整合高通量蛋白质组学、化学、遗传和生物信息方法用于癌症研究中药物靶点发现和药物筛选。张天在哈佛医学院Steven Gygi 实验室接受博后训练，并以第一作者或者合作者发表SCI论文二十余篇，包括Nature, Cell, PNAS, Genome Biology, Cell Genomics, Cell Reports, MCP, JPR, Analytical Chemistry. 张天获得NIH（美国国立卫生研究院）的K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award资助。课题组已搭建Orbitrap Astral 平台用于蛋白组学分析和应用。课题组长期招聘对相关研究感兴趣的博士后，博士生，访问学者/学生。课题组倡导团结，严谨，友爱的团队氛围，尊重实验室每一位成员的个人发展，积极协助青年人才继续深造和发展个人职业。

课题组所在的弗吉尼亚大学（UVA）是弗吉尼亚州夏洛茨维尔的一所公立研究型大学。它由美国总统托马斯·杰斐逊于1819年创立。UVA被称为“公立常春藤”，在美国新闻与世界报道排名的美国大学中排名第25位。夏洛茨维尔距离美国首都华盛顿两个半小时车程，紧邻仙纳度国家公园(Shenandoah National Park)，四季分明，气候宜人。

The Zhang Lab was established in August 2023 at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at University of Virginia School of Medicine. The Zhang Lab focuses on integrating high-throughput proteomic, chemical, genetic and computational tools for target identification and drug discovery in disease models. Dr. Zhang received her postdoc training in the Gygi lab at Harvard Medical School and published over 20 papers in Nature, Cell, and other journals. The Zhang lab is seeking multiple highly motivated postdoctoral and/or postgraduate research fellows interested in advanced mass spectrometry technology development and application on target identification and drug discovery in cancer biology.

The University of Virginia (UVA) is a public research university in Charlottesville, Virginia. It was founded in 1819 by US President Thomas Jefferson. UVA is often referred to as “public Ivy” and ranked No. #25 in US universities by US.News. Research in Zhang lab focuses on integrating high-throughput proteomics, chemical, genetic, and computational tools for target identification and drug discovery in cancer biology. We expect a successful postdoctoral fellow candidate to have training on DIA, mass spectrometry sample instrumentation, sample preparation, and data analysis.
