当地时间 2025 年 4 月 30 日,美国国家科学院(National Academy of Sciences,United States,简称:NAS)公布了新当选的院士和外籍院士。此次有120 人当选院士,30 人当选外籍院士,以表彰他们在原创性研究方面所取得的杰出且持续的成就。
诺奖得主、 中国中医科学院青蒿素研究中心屠呦呦教授, 此次 当选 美国国家科学院外籍院士。
美国国家科学院(National Academy of Sciences,United States,简称:NAS)成立于 1863 年,是美国乃至世界最高水平的学术机构之一,大约有 500 名现任和已故美国国家科学院院士获得过诺贝尔奖。旗下《美国国家科学院院刊》(PNAS)成立于 1914 年,是当今发表原创研究成果的最重要的国际学术期刊之一。
屠呦呦,1930 年 12 月 30 日生,因发现青蒿素可有效降低疟疾患者的死亡率,而获得 2015 年诺贝尔生理学或医学奖,是第一位获得诺贝尔科学奖项的中国本土科学家、第一位获得诺贝尔生理医学奖的华人科学家。
屠呦呦发现的全新抗疟疾药物青蒿素在 20 世纪 80 年代治愈了很多中国病人。世界卫生组织推荐将基于青蒿素的复合疗法作为一线抗疟治疗方案,拯救了数百万人的生命,使非洲疟疾致死率下降 66%,5 岁以下儿童患疟疾死亡率下降 71%。
此前,袁隆平、张启发、李家洋、卢煜明、施一公、杨焕明、高福、颜宁、曹晓风、康乐、王贻芳等中国科学家曾当选美国国家科学院外籍院士。

美国国家科学院院士(12人)
金海翎(美国加州大学河滨分校植物分子遗传学家)
金海翎,女,出生于中国,现任美国加州大学河滨分校植物病理系教授。金海翎教授1991年于武汉大学获得生物学学士学位,1996年获得中国科学院上海植物生理研究所分子遗传学博士学位,之后在美国加州大学伯克利分校以及英国John Innes Center进行博士后研究。研究生涯中获得多项荣誉,近年在2020年当选为美国微生物学会院士(AAM),在2021年获得国际生物化学和分子生物学联盟(IUBMB)颁发的禧年讲座奖,2022年时当选为美国国家发明家学会高级成员。金海翎教授主要研究方向是植物免疫和病原体毒力的分子机制。其中主要研究项目包括跨界 RNAi 和细胞外囊泡介导的植物和病原体之间的小 RNA 运输、植物与病原菌互作中小分子RNA的作用机理及生物学功能、植物免疫反应的表观遗传调控等。其研究成果在Science、Nature Plants、PNAS、Nature Communications等国际知名期刊上发表论文90余篇,H-index 56,i10-index 84,是该领域内最为权威和影响力的科学家之一。2025年当选美国国家科学院院士。
范汕洄(美国斯坦福大学光子学领域专家)
范汕洄,男,1972年4月19日出生于河南郑州,现任美国斯坦福大学工程学院Joseph and Hon Mai Goodman教授。范汕洄中学就读于广东实验中学,1992年获得中国科学技术大学(少年班)学士学位;1997年获得麻省理工学院博士学位;1997年-1999年在麻省理工学院物理系从事博士后研究;1999年-2001年任麻省理工学院电子研究实验室研究科学家;2001年-2007年任斯坦福大学电气工程助理教授;2007年-2012年任斯坦福大学电气工程副教授;2012年起任斯坦福大学电子工程教授;2021年被任命为斯坦福大学工程学院Joseph and Hon Mai Goodman教授。范汕洄的研究兴趣是纳米光子结构的基础研究,特别是基光子晶体和超颖材料,以及这些结构在能源和信息技术方面的应用。2024年当选美国国家工程院院士,2025年当选美国国家科学院院士。
沈康(美国斯坦福大学人脑细胞学专家)
沈康,男,1972年生于中国,现任美国斯坦福大学生物系和病理学系终身教授,吴蔡神经科学研究所所长,霍华德休斯医学研究所研究员。1989年考入同济医科大学医疗系(现华中科技大学同济医学院),1994年毕业获得学士学位;1999年在美国杜克大学取得分子细胞神经科学博士学位,之后在加州大学旧金山分校做博士后研究。2003年进入斯坦福大学担任生物系助理教授,2013年被美国斯坦福大学聘为生物学与病理学终身教授。主要研究方向为人类脑部及神经系统的发育。2025年当选美国艺术与科学院院士,2025年当选美国国家科学院院士。
林芳华(美国纽约大学 数学家)
林芳华,男,1959年3月出生于浙江宁波镇海,现任美国纽约大学柯朗数学科学研究所Silver教授,上海纽约大学数学联聘教授。林芳华1977年毕业于镇海骆驼中学考入浙江大学,于1981年从浙江大学数学系毕业;1985年获得美国明尼苏达大学数学博士学位;1985年至1987年担任美国纽约大学柯朗数学科学研究所助教;1988年担任芝加哥大学数学系正教授;1989年回到纽约大学担任柯朗数学科学研究所终身教授。林芳华的主要研究兴趣包括经典和应用分析,偏微分方程,几何测度论,以及变分运算。2004年当选美国艺术与科学院院士,2025年当选美国国家科学院院士。
刘军(美国哈佛大学 统计学家)
刘军,男,出生于北京,现任美国哈佛大学统计系终身教授。刘军教授于1985年毕业于北京大学数学系;1991年获美国芝加哥大学统计学博士学位(师从著名统计学家王永雄)。此后先后担任哈佛大学与斯坦福大学助理教授,2000年起任哈佛大学统计学系教授,并兼任生物统计学系教授。他于2015年领导创建清华大学统计学研究中心并任名誉主任,2024年7月以筹建发展委员会主任身份领导在清华大学创建统计与数据科学系。主要研究领域包括蒙特卡洛方法、贝叶斯模型、生物信息学、计算生物学、统计遗传学与遗传流行病学、随机动力系统、非线性状态空间模型、无线通讯信号处理等。刘教授在遗传和基因组学研究、复杂系统集成与优化的蒙特卡罗方法,以及医疗保健、金融和工程领域等方面的统计应用做出了开创性工作。这些工作对统计学的理论认知和实际应用产生了广泛影响。2025年当选美国国家科学院院士。
刘建国(美国密歇根州立大学 生态学家)
刘建国,男,1963年2月17日出生于湖南省衡南县,现任美国密歇根州立大学鱼类和野生动物系Rachel Carson讲席教授、大学杰出教授,系统综合与可持续性发展中心主任。刘建国于1983年获得湖南农业大学学士学位;1986年获得中国科学院硕士学位;1986年-1988年任城市和区域生态国家重点实验室(中国科学院生态环境研究中心)研究助理;1992年获得美国佐治亚大学博士学位;1992年-1994年在哈佛大学做博士后;1995年-2005年历任密歇根州立大学助理教授、副教授;2005年起任密歇根州立大学教授。2023年当选美国艺术与科学院院士,2025年当选美国国家科学院院士。
周集中(美国俄克拉荷马大学环境微生物学家)
周集中,男,1959年8月出生于湖南省新邵县,现任美国俄克拉荷马大学植物学与微生物学系George Lynn Cross教授。周集中教授于1981年获得湖南农业大学学士学位;1984年获得湖南农业大学硕士学位;1986年-1988年在中国科学院生态环境研究中心从事农业生态系统的研究;1993年获得美国华盛顿州立大学博士学位;1993年-1997年分别在密歇根大学和橡树岭国家实验室从事博士后研究;1997年-2004年历任橡树岭国家实验室环境科学部研究员、资深研究员;2005年任俄克拉荷马大学微生物与植物生物学系首席教授;2014年任俄克拉荷马大学微生物与植物生物学系George Lynn Cross研究教授;2015年任俄克拉荷马大学植物学与微生物学系环境基因研究所所长。周集中长期从事微生物基因组学,微生物生态学,生物修复,生物能等领域的研究。2023年当选美国艺术与科学院院士,2025年当选美国国家科学院院士。
单舒瓯(美国加州理工学院 化学家)
单舒瓯,女,1973年出生于上海,现任美国加州理工学院化学系教授。单教授于1991年高中毕业于华东师大二附中,1994年本科毕业于美国马里兰大学帕克分校,获得了化学和生物化学学士学位;2000年博士毕业于美国斯坦福大学生物化学系,导师为Dan Herschlag教授;后在美国加州大学旧金山分校从事博士后研究,导师为Peter Walter教授。2005年加入加州理工学院担任助理教授,并于2011年成为正教授。2025年当选美国国家科学院院士。
李文渝(美国宾夕法尼亚大学神经退行性疾病专家)
李文渝(Virginia Man-Yee Lee),女,1945年出生于重庆,籍贯广东台山,在香港长大。全球神经退行性疾病领域的先驱,现任美国宾夕法尼亚大学神经退行性疾病研究中心主任。李文渝的父亲是一名生活在美国的华人,在二战期间志愿加入空军,回到中国抗击日本的侵略。在一次战斗中,他的座机被击落,本人也因此负伤,由此结识了李文渝的母亲。两人婚后共育有三个子女,李文渝是家中的小女儿。二战结束之后,他们全家移居香港:父亲在香港与美国西海岸之间来回经商,母亲则在家照顾孩子。10多岁那年,李文渝的大部分亲人都跟随父亲去了美国,只有她和一名哥哥留在香港的祖母家,在香港高中毕业后,李文渝前往英国学习钢琴表演。离开英国时,她却带着英国伦敦大学的生物化学的硕士学位。1973年在加州大学旧金山分校获得了生物化学的博士学位。后分别在荷兰乌德勒支大学的鲁道夫麦格纳斯研究所、美国哈佛大学医学院和波士顿儿童医院医学中心从事博士后研究。2019年获得“科学突破奖” 之“生命科学突破奖”。美国国家医学院院士、美国艺术与科学院院士、2025年当选美国国家科学院院士。
张复伦(美国加州大学旧金山分校神经外科专家)
张复伦(Edward F.Chang),男,现任美国加州大学旧金山分校神经外科学系主任、教授。1997年毕业于美国阿默斯特学院,获得化学学士学位; 2004年毕业于美国加州大学旧金山分校,获得医学博士学位。后在加州大学伯克利分校从事认知神经科学博士后研究。他的研究重点是大脑的言语、运动和人类情感机制。他曾获2015年度Blavatnik全国生命科学桂冠和美国国立卫生院院长创新奖以表彰他在破译语音神经密码方面的贡献。2022年,他获得美国国家科学院Pradel神经科学奖。美国国家医学科学院院士,2025年当选美国国家科学院院士。
张逸白(美国马萨诸塞大学阿默斯特分校分子生物学家)
张逸白(Alice Y. Cheung),女,在香港出生和长大,分子生物学家,现任美国马萨诸塞大学阿默斯特分校生化与分子生物学系杰出教授。1976年于美国史密斯学院获得生物化学学士学位,1982年于美国耶鲁大学获得分子生物物理与生物化学博士学位,1982-1986期间在哈佛大学进行博士后研究,并于1987年及1993在耶鲁大学先后任职助理教授及副教授。1997年起至今在美国马萨诸塞大学生化与分子生物学系教授。张逸白教授在包括Nature,Science,Proc. Natl Acad. Sci. USA,Plant Cell,elife等国际知名刊物上发表论文百篇。荣获美国科学促进会(American Association for the Advancement of Science, AAAS, 主要贡献在于理解植物受精及细胞极性化生长的分子及细胞生物学过程)会士与优秀植物生物研究劳伦斯奖等荣誉。她长期任国际期刊Plant Physiology专题期刊主编、任Frontiers in Cell and Developmental Biolgy(FCDB)、Journal of Integrative Plant Biology等国际期刊副主编。并且张逸白教授与Henming Wu教授为国际及国内多所研究单位培育植物生殖领域人才做出了巨大贡献。2025年当选美国国家科学院院士。
陈建历(美国加州理工学院 化学家)
陈建历(Garnet Kin-Lic Chan),男,1978年1月4日出生于英国伦敦,在香港长大,现任美国加州理工学院Bren化学教授,也是理论物理学的 Simons 研究员。本硕博均毕业于英国剑桥大学,他于 2000 年在剑桥大学获得理论化学博士学位;后在加州大学伯克利分校和剑桥大学从事博士后研究。他于 2004 年至 2012 年在康奈尔大学任教,并于 2012 年至 2016 年在普林斯顿大学任教;现加入美国加州理工学院任Bren化学教授。他的研究涉及理论化学、凝聚态物理学和量子信息论的交叉领域,主要研究与量子多粒子系统相关的现象和数值方法。目前感兴趣的一些系统包括金属酶和生物催化剂、过渡金属氧化物和超导性,以及有机分子晶体和光捕获。他为广泛的量子模拟方法做出了贡献,包括真实材料的密度矩阵重整化和张量网络算法、通过规范变换进行下折叠、局部量子化学方法、量子嵌入(包括动力学平均场理论和密度矩阵嵌入理论)以及新的量子蒙特卡洛技术。2007年获得斯隆奖化学奖,2025年当选美国国家科学院院士。
