“希望之星”英语演讲比赛

“Outlook Superstars” English Speech Contest

在“希望之星”英语演讲比赛中，融中6名同学获得上海市特等奖，其中2名同学将晋级全国总决赛！4名同学获得上海市一等奖！“希望之星”作为国内权威英语素养赛事，聚焦英语表达力、思辨力与舞台风采。通过赛事锤炼，同学们不仅提升了语言应用能力，更淬炼了跨文化沟通自信与批判性思维，让世界听见中国少年的声音！

In the “Outlook Superstars” English Speech Contest, 6 MYP students won the Grand Prize in Shanghai and 2 of them will be promoted to the National Finals; 4 students won the First Prize. As a domestic authoritative English speaking competition, “Outlook Superstars” focuses on English expression, critical thinking and stage presence. Through the competition, students not only improve their language application skills, but also refine their cross-cultural communication confidence and critical thinking, allowing the voice of Chinese youth to be heard on the global stage.

National Science League

在美国科学测评（NSL）中，来自尚德融中的学子以卓越表现再创新高，共斩获包括3项满分奖、24项金奖、39项银奖、47项铜奖在内的152项荣誉!展现了同学们在科学领域的卓越素养与创新潜力。本届赛事最大亮点当属融中7名九年级学生跨级参与十年级物理竞赛单元，最终摘得1金、3铜、3优秀奖的优异成绩。

In the National Science Assessment (NSL), MYP students broke historical records with outstanding performance, winning 152 honors including 3 full marks，24 gold awards, 39 silver awards and 47 bronze awards, demonstrating the outstanding literacy and innovation potential of the new generation of young people in the field of science. The biggest highlight of this competition is undoubtedly the outstanding performance of 7 ninth grade students participating in the tenth grade physics competition unit across levels, ultimately winning 1 gold, 3 bronze, and 3 excellent awards.

CNAP中国学术五项全能赛

China Academic Pentathlon

CNAP中国学术五项全能赛（原USAP中国站）是获世界名校认可的英文通识学术竞赛，为通往IAP国际学术五项全能的专属通道。围绕全球学术主题，鼓励学生从多学科理解 “科技与人类” 等议题，探究科学与经济社会现象、解读艺术文化与历史人物，融合中西视角，提升多元能力、文化自信与国际视野。

在5月4日刚落幕的CNAP中国站比赛中，融合部初中学生在激烈角逐中共获得83个奖项，其中全国铜奖2项、华东区一等奖8项、二等奖14项、三等奖22项！同时，尚德荣获“通识教育先锋学校”荣誉称号！

At the recently concluded CNAP China Round on May 4th, our middle school students from the Integrated Division claimed an impressive 83 awards amidst intense competition, including:2 National Bronze Awards，8 East China Regional First Prizes，14 Second Prizes，22 Third Prizes ! Meanwhile, Shangde was honored with the prestigious title of 'General Education Pioneer School' !

I have been participating in math tournaments since primary school. After entering MYP, I was given opportunities by my teachers to take part in more advanced math tournaments such as MMATHS, BMT and SMT. Through these experiences, I enhanced my problem solving abilities, developed my collaboration skills, and also got to know more students who share my passion for math. In the future, I will continue to work hard and strive for better results.

Mathematics competitions hold a unique appeal for us math students. It is very pure—when a group of people who love mathematics come together to discuss a problem, that problem may be abstract, incomprehensible, or even seemingly meaningless, yet we genuinely enjoy it and immerse ourselves in the beauty of pure mathematics. There is no single overarching theorem that explains the entire mathematical system, and there will never be, but that does not stop thousands of math enthusiasts like us from exploring mathematics for its own sake.
